Snorkel and Mask Combo

Only five stars? I want to give them a ten!

I have never had to struggle to breath so hard in my life. Breathing in, one has to really suck in, and breathing out is even more difficult. You have to PUSH the air out. There is no easy, relaxed, breathing with this snorkel. Save your money, a regular snorkel works MUCH better than this piece of (bleep).

I purchased mine from the manufacturer. I tried the snorkel and mask at my gym pool. The snorkel worked great. I intentionally did not shave for 5 days to se if the mask would be water tight. It was not at 1st but cleared easily by blowing out my nose. I tightened the straps, which helped a great deal, but my mustache (left over fom Movember) prevented a complete seal. But this is not the masks fault: It's a user error, by trying to use this type if mask instead of eye-only goggles or a full face mask. I took them out to the lake, and floated and dived off a noodle. Worked great! I like the snorkel a lot better than my $15 standard model. I really could relax and breath better. The gurgling of left-over water in snorkel is impossible to completely clear, so you just have to ignore it, like bursting bubbles from scuba gear. You will never inhale it due to design of snorkel, so it is a non-isdue. But perfect the designer will figure it out on next version. Perhaps diverter plate (baffle) would do the trick. A sponge would work but impractical .

Best snorkel ever, hands down!!! Makes for an awesome snorkeling experience!
