Clean ingredients
I know this one is a little pricey but it is made by clean ingredients (less sugar). You can use it for pork or fish. It tastes good for cooking. It is value for money.

Added great flavor to our ramen
First off, I was very impressed with the packaging. The glass bottle arrived with zero damage because of this extra effort taken and I appreciate that.I chose this mirin, specifically, because I'm prediabetic and most of the other brands have corn syrup, glucose syrup, or some sort of sugar in them and Eden mirin had none of those, just simple ingredients. It helped bring my ramen to the deliciousness I couldn't achieve before and the kids loved it! The nice thing is that a little goes a long way so this bottle will last me through many recipes. Would definitely order again.

About as good as can easily be had in the US for Japanese cooking
This is not bad at all.I tried to hunt down real Mirin without added salt and it seems to be almost impossible. I talked to a guy in NYC and he said he could never find real Mirin there, so there is no hope for me in my podunk city. He ordered it directly from Japan and said it was very expensive to import it himself.I am not sure why it is so difficult, I can get high-quality Sake in big box booze stores made in Japan. If I travel to Japan, I am definitely shipping back a case or 10 of Mirin. So, this is good enough. It makes great marinades and teriyaki. Most of the other Mirin sold on Amazon comes from China and is totally fake. They have added sugar among other ingredients that Mirin does not have. The sugar in Mirin comes naturally from the production process and is not added. The others here, as well as what I have seen in grocery stores, are chemical sludges that approximate the taste of Mirin. Gross! This appears to have no added sugar, which is a win.

Pricey but Good
I was thrilled to make a delicious donburi dish for the first time today with my new bottle of Mirin! Can't say I've tried other brands, so I'm unable to offer a valid comparison--but this is the real deal, I think, and straight from Japan.

Good quality Mirin.
I used to buy good mirin from Mitoku. Last time I tried Eden’s mirin it was good so I was looking for buying this one. I’m glad I found it at Amazon.
