Does this pick up dog hair?

It pulls the dog hair off the bottom of your shoes very well. The dogs can walk right across it and not get their paws hurt or even stick in the slightest. Once the adhesive gathers too much then you're on to the next piece with ease. Very good product purchased partially for this purpose.

Are these safe to use with dog's feet?

Yes our wiener dog walks on them all the time through the garage with no issues

Valutek recommends changing a mat layer after every 50 passes.
