I've bought 3 sets of these for builds that I have done on dirt cheap used Epiphone Junior Guitars. They are a direct drop in replacement for the crappy Trapeziod tuners that come on those guitars. They're a great value for the money. My first set is now 10 months old and I played that guitar every day for 2 months straight with no problems at all. They hold tuning just as well as any name brand tuners (which I have used on over 50 builds) The third set I got had one tuner that is just slightly, but noticeably tighter than the rest, but it works just fine. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars in all categories

First off, I know you're wondering if they're green. They are. Like glow in the dark green, I solved this by hitting the pegs with 320 grit sandpaper, coloring them brown with furniture markers, then wet sanding with 800 grit, dipping them in isopropyl alcohol and wiping clean. Now they look relic'd and slightly less green although probably not what true vintage tuners look like. The second thing, I had to disassemble one of these out of the box to reattach the gear inside of the casing. I added a drop of blue loctite and reassembled not a huge deal but minorly inconvenient. I actually haven't even installed these yet but without string tension they all feel good so hopefully that is the case once they get some strings on

I installed these on my Recording King lapsteel guitar. The factory tuners were junk. I did have to enlarge the bushing holes in the headstock slightly to get them to fit but, it was worth the little bit of extra effort. Turns out they're a pretty nice set of tuners. They turn smoothly. no dead spots, not sloppy feeling and seem to hold tune pretty well.....and they look pretty cool too......IMHO! Very satisfied. UPDATE: After a week of using this lapsteel every day, these tuners have been rock solid with little, to mostly no, tuning adjustments on a daily basis. Still very satisfied.

On one of the tuners the white part that turns the tuner is completely missing. It's not even in the box so the manufacture just sent an incomplete part. I'd like 1 replacement tuner sent. I will contact the manufacturer and see if they send it
