The smell is pleasant, it works when applied later in the day (and manages to successfully cover the B.O. smell once it starts), and it doesn't stain my clothes. Review: Love crystal deodorant - This is my favorite deodorant, and has been for the past five or six years, ever since I stopped using the kind that has aluminum in it. It doesn't burn or sting or build up or cause a rash on me like everything else does! And as long as it's applied to clean skin, and allowed to dry before putting on clothes (I use a hair dryer on low for a few seconds to dry it), then it lasts all day. I only notice a faint smell of natural body odor up close if I've gone a couple days without showering/reapplying--never so strong as to be noticed unless my nose is literally in my armpit, though. ;) I'm not naturally very sweaty, so the fact that it doesn't keep you dry doesn't bother me... it keeps me non-stinky, and that's all I really need! It has a muted scent that does not interfere with the scent of my perfume. It is not sticky and doesn’t leave any white residue on my clothing. It also does not irritate my underarms. However, this product with the yellow cap-Chamomile & Green Tea, did irritate my underarms and I’m not sure why. The unscented works just ans well, but I prefer a little scent.
