Topics covered include the Wildwood, agriculture, domestication of animals, religious rituals, the Aubrey Hales, the Bluestones, the Sarsen stones, and the Amesbury Archer.  The book also provides a time line of construction as well as possible explanations as to how and why Stonehenge was built.  A glossary is included.  With illustrations on every page, this book is ideal for young readers or anyone seeking a good survey on one of the greatest ancient sites in the world.
