Quality product!
After watching extensive reviews by Pan the Organizer and Scott from Dallas Paint, I decided to upgrade my Porter-Cable Variable Speed 6" Polisher to Maxshine's M15 Pro II. I performed a full detail on my car and found the M15 Pro II to be lighter, easier to control, less fatiguing, and easy to manipulate its variable speed settings, to include being a little quieter than the Porter-Cable. I do not profess to be a professional detailer by any stretch of the imagination; however, the products recommended from these two pros has left me extremely satisfied with the outcome from my effort. Simply put, my GTI is six years old but its paint looks like it was just delivered to the dealer from the factory. It's perfect in my eyes and I feel I made a great investment and this polisher will last me many years with proper care.Great value for the money and will leave you very happy when you step back and admire your work!

Great tool great results
By no means am I a professional. I would consider myself an intermediate weekend warrior polisher...Coming from a harbor freight da orbital for around 70 bucks I was relatively pleased with using. Of couse that is my only frame of reference with polishers. However this new Maxshine is a big difference. I like having the 5" pad compared to the 6" from harbor freight. I am able to access the curves in my trucks body much better. After a while the unit gets a little tiresome but the results were much better than I used to get before. Anyone on here knows the difficulty maintaining a darker paint job. 1 pass with griots 3 in 1 polish wax and it was a world of difference. This has revived my passion for keeping the cars clean. Makes it fun again. I'm sure in time I can get even better, but this can make a beginner end up with a good finish result.

Love it!
I started detailing 11 years ago with a porter cable 7424xp. It was for it's time a great little machine. By today's standards it's underpowered. After two years I moved up to a rotary. I burned a couple panels learning it but eventually became quite comfortable and quick with it.My only issue with the rotary is the potential for hollograms. If I'm jeweling paint, hollograms are virtually non existent. If I have to correct mildly damaged paint I usually need to step up to more aggressive products and pads. With good technique you can avoid most but you usually still need to step down to finer polishes and gentler pads to clean up any that do occur. What I really wanted was something that could remove light swirling and marks and finish off without holograms in one step. With a rotary I found I usually needed at least two steps. This finally solved it and is a huge improvement over the porter cable. The rotary obviously works faster if you're doing a multi step detail, but if you're doing a one step correction this is significantly safer not only in terms of burning paint but virtually impossible to instill holograms. It doesn't replace my rotary though. I find jeweling with an ultrafine diminishing abrasive like menzerna sf4500 requires the power of a rotary and the finish is still better on the rotary than this.My first test was with a 2014 Honda CRV that has close to 200k miles, drives back and forward through LA and Vegas and has never been waxed or sealed. Needless to say, my work was cutout for me. I used this alongside a Lake Country orange pad and 3D Speed all in one. Cut through the grim, left a nice shine, and cleared up probably 90%+ of the imperfections. Night and day difference. It's not perfect, but that wasn't what I was going for anyways. Just a quick cleanup to make the car look newer. In terms of stalling issues, I had to install the included spacer behind the backing plate as it was contacting the plastic shroud. Once installed stalling wasn't an issue. Obviously, this will still stall on creases and angled portions on the car. It's designed to do that so you don't burn through the paint. If you've used a porter cable you'll know it can be difficult at times keeping the pad moving on these angles. If you're coming from the PC you'll understand how you need to angle and position the pad to keep it spinning. This I say is slightly better on the creases but on the flats is where this really shines. The pad really moves in comparison to the PC and does wonders for paint correction.I'd say they nailed it in terms of the clutch stalling. On the flats it spins extremely well even under pressure. On the edges it's sensitive enough that you can still keep it spinning but does slow down to prevent burning.Noise level is on part with the porter cable. I'd still recommend hearing protection.Overall 5 stars from me. Great price, power, and handles well!

Best machine out there.
This polisher is awesome. Aesthetically it looks awesome. It performs super well and stays cool as long as you don't block the vents. It fits in your hand perfectly and the trigger lock is such a nice addition. It barely vibrates and it is just comfortable to use for long periods of time. With a 15mm throw it makes things go super quick. I would recommend this for a beginner or professional literally it is a great machine and can do what ever you need it to do. Beginner or not this is a top notch machine and it is a high quality. Comes with a nice carrying bag, polisher, manual, tools.

Awesome DA Polisher!
This DA polisher is flat awesome! Smooth and clean plus love how easy it is to change backing plates vs traditional polishers. Very impressed with this product and the value. The longevity and durability over time will be a good test but at this time I would put the Maxshine M15 Pro DA up against any Rupes polisher(s); especially with the price difference (Rupes $400+ or Maxshine $200). I could buy 2 or more Maxshine for the cost of 1 Rupes so even in the longrun it would be hard to justify not choosing 2 polishers over 1, especially when its so smooth. Hope this helps
