This product is amazing!!!
I don't write many product reviews, although I do read them for product info before purchasing. However, this product WORKS! The reviews gave me a realistic idea that, although it may take more time than stated, THIS PRODUCT WORKS!!! My 13 yo grandson visited us for the holidays, eats likes a champ and clogged our toilet! While I've never met a clog I couldn't free, none of my home remedies worked. Dishwashing liquid and warm water, baking soda and vinegar... no results. I didn't want to use any harsh chemicals that may harm our pipes, and calling a plumber was a last resort. I read about the Green Gobbler, researched it and decided to give it a try. It comes with 2 pouches of product (smaller than I would have thought). I followed directions (easy!) No results after a night and day. Last night I decided to use the 2nd pouch. This morning, the water looked like it was back to a normal level, so (with plunger in hand, just in case) I flushed! SUCCESS! No plunger needed! This product works!!! But like the reviews say, it can take a couple of days. Patience pays off! Better than a bill from a plumber! I'm ordering more to keep handy!

Didn’t work .
Please don’t waste your money .. I used both bags and did nothing .. The first bag I put in after I used dawn, baking soda , then hot water with plugging done nothing , I waited a few days did the next bag and let it sit plugged again , nothing again . I ended up using some some 3 dollar drano from Walmart great value brand , and a pot of hot water and went down with very little plugging .. I don’t know if it was just stopped up or something wrong with my toilet but it was stopped up week . Just thankful it’s down now .

Worked a miracle for me. Gave the product 48 hours to do its magic and could not be more pleased.
I'm not one to get excited about any kind of "cleaning" product but these packets of Green Gobbler POWDER PLUNGER Toilet Bowl Clog Remover are apparently made by wizards. They worked a miracle on my clogged toilet! After wrestling for a couple of days with two different types of plungers, this septuagenarian surrendered, thinking calling a plumber was my only option. Not expecting much, I turned first to our friends at the Amazon to look for something that might solve my problem, short of calling in an expert.I poured ONE packet of this Green Gobbler Powder Plunger Toilet Clog Remover into the bowl, topped it off with some hot tap water per the directions and stepped away. I checked on the situation a time or two but did not attempt to flush it until 48 hours later.Wonder of wonders -- It worked like a magic charm!Toilet is flushing and flowing perfectly today and I could not be happier. This product is not cheap ($19 with 5% discount in March 2025) but it is a two pack and, in my case, one packet did the trick. The manufacturer suggests using half a packet from time to time as a preventative and I will probably do that in a month or so, just to keep both commodes working the way they were intended.$19 is a whole lot cheaper than bringing a plumber. If you have the option, order this product and dispense it per the simple directions. Then let your family know that toilet is off limits for two days. Give it time to do the job. If Green Gobbler doesn't solve your problem, then call in the experts. Hope it works as well for you as it did for me.

Read reviews!
If you have a major clog, don’t expect this to work in 15 minutes. Think more like 3 days. After plunging vigorously and trying all of the home remedies, I decided to try Green Gobbler. I added the first pack with hot water and, although the product itself doesn’t have much of a smell, when it came into contact with the waste water, it was the more vile scent that has ever assaulted my nose. I let it sit for about 24 hours with no change in the water level. I tried flushing, which did nothing but bring the water level up even more.I then added the second pack with a little more hot water. 24 hours later, no change. I took a big risk and flushed again, which almost made the toilet overflow. At this point, I had no good option left. I couldn’t plunge unless I wanted waste water everywhere, I didn’t want to spend money on a toilet auger/snake, and I really didn’t want to have to call maintenance and make them see/smell that. I took the action of taking no action and decided to give it another 24 hours. At about the 68 hour mark, the clog finally went down the drain on its own! No additional flushing or plunging needed. I’m happy I read the reviews on here that said to give it 3-4 days.I’m not sure if this is the first product I would reach for next time, but here are my lessons learned:1. Do not flush if the water level hasn’t gone down2. Only use if you have another toilet in the house that you can use while this works its magic3. Depending on the type of clog, be prepared for some nasty sewage smells4. Depending on the severity of the clog, be prepared for it to take a few days5. Add hot (not boiling) water to the bowl after dumping a packet inAll in all, it did its job. Just took a little longer than advertised.
