Interesting design
The shade can be used as a hanging fixture or the lamp shade can be used separately on a regular lamp base. The shade is fully lined in a gold satin fabric. The band on the lamp is the same burgundy fabric but covered by lace. The beads are plastic, but they look very much like glass beads and they have been applied evenly. The edging and the fabric over the metal spokes is black.I purchased from the warehouse. Unfortunately, one side is dented. The fabric is not torn, but three of the spokes are badly bent causing the fabric to buckle/pucker. I have not been able to straighten the spokes so the fabric will be taught. The shade is sturdy. It took some doing to damage the metal.I would not hesitate to buy another. This one will be returned.
