I can't decide on black or grey! Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. The grey one is more distressed looking but the black one goes with everything. You might also want to read my recent review of this bag. I wasn't very happy with it.

Can a 17.3 laptop fit?

It should be wide enough; but doubt it is tall enough. My 15.6 inch laptop barely fits hight-wise. I would not use it to carry my laptop; it has no padding.

opened all the way the strap is 46" long, it also has a nice padded shoulder piece on it., closed it is about 26"

Will it fit a 15" laptop????

I measured it and it might for but it could be very tight.

Super cute and soft. Fits all my daughters stuff for school. Only one thing is the big pocket doesn't zip but she hasn't really had any issues except the first day of getting used to being careful when leaning over so it doesn't tip and stuff fall out. Over all a very decent bag.
