Dolphin Adventure:: A True Story – A Beautiful Picture Book for Kids (Ages 8-12) About a Baby Dolphin in the Ocean

This is one of those books (for youngsters) which is so unbelievable. And it's a true story. I don't want to give the story away, but so many intricate details are what will keep this book in your memory, as well as the book's theme. We all either believe or disbelieve that dolphins are interested in humans, and whether or not dolphins will interact with us in the wild. This story is of a boy who is swimming in the ocean. He is brought to the area by boat so that he can view the creatures of the sea. This is where he meets a family of 3 dolphins. So how does this bring them all together in the water? The two species communicated with patience, trust and a great show of love. I can't tell you how good this book is so you will have to read it for yourself and I recommend it highly for your youngster's reading, even though it has small chapters. There are also illustrations which help bring this book alive. Buy it, as it is so worth it for your child/grandchild!

LOVE these stories by Wayne Grover. My kids got hooked on them when we homeschooled. Now I share them with my 1st grade classes. They are a hit!

We got this book for our grandson AJ who loves reading this book to me while on the phone. During this horrible time of the COVID-19, AJ's parents are making sure that their 8 year son continues his studies online and reading. AJ called me this morning and asked if he could read this story to me. After AJ reading several chapters to me about this true story of a diver and dolphin family relationship, I fell in love with this book. AJ has only 13 pages left to finish the story and we both can't wait to hear the ending. Captivating for young and old and some new words to add to young reader's vocabulary. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to hear from my little buddy!

I'm not saying I cried, but I'm not saying I didn't either. This is just a remarkable story, and I'm so glad we read it. It has given me and my children and new appreciation for the nature of dolphins. We used this is our read aloud for our oceans unit study in our homeschool.

I gifted this to my dive shop owner. There are a few technical bits in the story that don’t match what I was taught about diving, but it’s a great story!
