Finally a NO Bean Pasta option which sets the standard
This is the only product out there which actually tastes outstandingly good for a higher protein and a lower carb option. amazing taste and texture and totally worth the money. this is our new favorite, meets all the dietary needs and just taste like regular pasta. all the other products out there which claim the same can just not meet the standard here. protein Source comes from real eggs which is literally the only option out there. And finally pasta which is not using some alternative ingredients like beans they just don't taste as good

Excellent Pasta
Love this pasta! Switched without telling my family and they didn't notice. It is more expensive, but it is a little healthier. Very good taste. Well worth the cost.

Great way of reducing carbs in your daily diet
I have been eating this product for over a year. I follow WW way of eating this fits right in nicely! Replaces rice which is 6 points per cup to 2 points for 2 cups using this product . The taste is really good!

Not exactly Keto but all hope is not lost
If you were looking for a "keto" solution to your pasta cravings this might seem like the answer to your prayers but it's important that you be forewarned that this product is made with semolina flour and, therefore, isn't strictly keto. Now if you do "lazy" keto there are some other things to also keep in mind. Portion size - Do you have a digital kitchen scale? You don't? Each package of pasta can be divided into 4 portions for working out your macros. I know the package says that it contains 5 servings but, unless you're portioning out your pasta with a digital scale before you cook it, you'll probably just divide it in half. Two halves of a half bag (1/4 bag for the mathematically challenged) is what I cook for my son and I. That portion size is just right for one person but the net carbs are high enough that, even if you're doing lazy keto you'll want to avoid any other carbs that day. Some math: Servings per container: 5 Total carbs per serving: 24 Dietary Fiber: 7 120 Total carbohydrates for the entire package minus 35 Dietary Fiber = 85 Net carbs per bag. If you're dividing that by 4 (half of half a bag at a time... let's not pretend you were going to divide it in 5 portions...) that's 21.25 Net Carbs per person. That's a LOT of carbs to consume in one go. It's about HALF of what you'd consume in the same amount of store bought pasta, though. My son and I have decided that we'll use this pasta as a "once in a while" treat for when we're really missing pasta but there's no way it could become a regular part of our diet. And, on those days that we decide to have this pasta, we'll avoid any other carbs at all cost. Wait... you DO have a digital kitchen scale? it's 8.5 Net carbs per ounce (28.3 grams). You make your portion sizes however you like. I don't judge. Taste - The pasta tastes great. If you've tried those shirataki noodles and hated them (because they're gross and you're a normal person) then you have nothing to fear from this pasta. Because it's pasta. Seriously. Cooking time - The directions tell you to boil for 3 minutes and it's done but I gotta tell you... while I'm not opposed to my pasta being "al dente" at all... 3 minutes is a joke. Very chewy, tastes like raw flour, very gummy and terrible mouth feel. Kinda like under-cooked pasta. Imagine that. Give it at least 5-6 minutes in the boil if you want the best results (in my experience, anyway). Here's the bottom line; It's pasta. It's not pretend pasta. It's not some mystical "fiber from the root of the ancient oriental catnip turnip" concoction that smells like fish. It's lower in carbs than the stuff you'll find at your grocery store but that doesn't mean that it's "low in carbs". Watch your portions and limit yourself responsibly and you'll never consider giving shirataki noodles another try. Maybe for bait if you enjoy fishing. Maybe.

well, i'm here to tell you...
i've been on a low carb diet, off and on, for several yrs. this last year i had my best results. anyway, i miss pasta. but, i didn't put much stock in this product when i first saw it on amazon. i saw it i thought oh, yeah...another load of crap. but i'm a sucker, so i bought it anyway. well, i'm here to tell you this particular crap is the best i've tried to date. i boiled a few chicken quarters, and boned it, and brought it back up to a rolling boil. i opened a bag and as i held it above the steaming, boiling, chickeny goodness, i looked to the heavens and asked for just one decent meal of chicken and noodles before i die. i dumped a half a bag into the broth and stirred to separate. with great trepidation i stood back and waited. 4 minuets went by, per the instructions, i fished out a noodle and tasted...crunchy? well i won't give up so soon. boil, boil...10 minutes...hummm, i don't know. still not done. boil, boil, boil...16 minutes...and i extracted another noodle. damn. that's a good noodle. ok, it ain't rheames, but that's a hell of a noodle. i ate 2 bowls and loved every bite. they were tender, as you would expect, and tasty on their own. no bad taste in your mouth as with so many other low carb products. there was an incredible null salt imbalance, which was quickly over come. i envision lo mien, spaghetti, fettuccine, even mac and cheese, in my future. my life has just expanded. i am a happy man with this low carb noodle. thank you, carba nada, you have helped, tremendously. A Follow up: it's too bad but carba-nada noodles have prieced themselves out of my market, at least. they have gone up $12 since we started enjoying them. i can no longer justify their purchase. sorry, noodle company.
