Assembly took some time and a few minor hassles, but overall pretty great!
Assembly time took about 2 1/2 hours. A mini wrench and driver is included; easy to use. You have to follow the first few instructions very carefully when assembling the frame, otherwise you will need to backtrack and undo mistakes. Once the frame is assembled, the remaining assembly is very easy. Some of the pre-drilled holes were slightly too small for the bolts; I used a screwdriver to stretch the edges a little larger. Quality seems good, although the ball return material could've been thicker (it will probably begin to rip with a lot of use). It's stable on a level concrete basement floor (stability is good). Has 1 and 2 player options - versatile. Takes 3 AAA batteries. Very addictive gameplay! I'm happy with it.

A Coliseum of Champions
A Coliseum of Champions: The Hathaway Sure Shot 81-Inch Dual Indoor Basketball Game and the Making of Legends There are contests, and then there are battles—the kind that set hearts pounding, that forge rivalries in the fires of competition, that turn mere participants into champions of their own living rooms. Some games pass quietly, enjoyed for a time and then forgotten, their thrill fading like a summer evening breeze. But others—the rare, the magnificent, the truly great—become something more. They transcend play and enter the realm of legend. Such is the fate of the Hathaway Sure Shot 81-Inch Dual Indoor Basketball Game, a creation so singular in its grandeur, so flawless in its execution, that it does not merely offer entertainment—it summons forth the spirit of the game itself, breathing life into the very walls of one’s home. The Arrival: The Dawn of an Era It came to me in a box that spoke not of its destiny. It was simple, unassuming—its great purpose hidden beneath layers of packaging, as though waiting for the right hands to unveil it. And yet, as I set to work assembling it, I could feel something stirring, something ancient and powerful, the echo of every great shootout, every buzzer-beater, every roaring, breathless moment in basketball history. Piece by piece, it took shape, rising like a monument to sport and skill, its frame standing firm, its dual hoops poised like sentinels over the battlefield. And then, when at last it was ready, I stood back, **beholding not a mere game, but an arena—a coliseum where greatness would be decided, where victories would be won, and where defeat would taste all the more bitter for the sheer intensity of the struggle. The First Shot: A Rite of Passage The first shot was launched with the reverence of a knight unsheathing his sword for the first time. The ball arced through the air, its path true, its destiny inevitable. It struck the backboard—a whisper of rubber against canvas, the perfect geometry of sport at work—and then, in a sound so sweet it might have been composed by the gods of the game themselves, it swished through the net. A perfect shot. Then another. And another. And suddenly, the game was alive. The Duel: A Contest of Will and Skill What followed was nothing short of warfare, fought not with swords or shields, but with speed, precision, and sheer competitive fire. The dual hoop design is not merely a feature; it is a call to arms, a challenge issued in the language of friendly battle, demanding that one does not merely shoot, but outshoot. Side by side, we fought—brothers, rivals, warriors in the great and noble fight for supremacy. The timer counted down, the baskets rained in, and as the electronic scoreboard flickered in judgment, we pushed harder, faster, knowing that only one of us would emerge victorious. And then—the final shot. Would it fall? Would it miss? The moment hung in the air, suspended in the fragile balance of history. And then—swish. Victory. Glory. And just as quickly, the call came for a rematch. Because that is the magic of this game—it does not end, it only fuels the hunger for more. The Craftsmanship: A Structure Worthy of Its Purpose In a world where too many games are built for a season and forgotten by the next, the Hathaway Sure Shot stands firm, unwavering, a testament to the spirit of competition. The frame, strong and sure, does not wobble beneath the frenzied intensity of last-second shots. The net, taut and precise, captures each ball with the satisfying swish of destiny fulfilled. The digital scoreboard, clear and commanding, presides over the game with an authority that leaves no room for argument. This is no flimsy, forgettable pastime. This is a machine of dreams, a forge of future legends, a proving ground for all who dare to take their shot. The Legacy: A Tradition in the Making To those who believe a basketball game is just a basketball game, I say: You have never played this one. This is not merely a toy, nor an idle distraction—it is a ritual, an invitation to step forth and seize greatness, to challenge family, friends, and even oneself in the eternal quest for mastery. It is a gateway to memories made, to laughter shared, to the primal joy of competition, the kind that fills a room with energy and leaves players breathless, eager for one more round, one more shot, one more chance to cement their name in household history. The Final Verdict: A Game Worthy of Its Name There are purchases one forgets and purchases one remembers forever. This, my friends, is the latter. It is the best of what indoor games can be—awe-inspiring, durable, thrilling beyond measure. Five stars? No. Five banners hanging from the rafters, five golden trophies shining under stadium lights, five cheers echoing through time as the final buzzer sounds. For those who seek not just a game, but a stage upon which legends are made—this is your arena.

Very cheap made.
Do not buy. I'm pretty sure alot maybe all pay people use family or neighbors to write the good reviews. For us to buy their junk products. Not steel durable frame, cheap light metal that moves side to side .you need to put weight on the legs to get from jumping up when shooting the ball, the black plastic cheap sounds like Christmas wrapping paper. That the ball roll and returns back too you is not going to last no time. The basketball goals .the paint was come off as I was hanging the net. The parts I was shorted one bar . Just trust me. Don't order.

Fun Additon to Game Room
Quality, fun basketball game. 7 yr old grandson loves it. Instructions fine for average builder. Had initial help with assembly, but after first few pieces could easily assemble solo in a few hours. Packaged well, no damage. Minor issue with plastic hand pump when needle fell out after one ball but I had another. Fun addition to the gameroom. Recommend for all ages

Good game at the right price.
I bought this based on reviews and cost. The price was good. It was easy to put together and only needed an extra once. All hardware was here. I used a cordless screwdriver and a regular wrench versus using the hand tools that came with it. The thing I don't get is they include 4 balls and air pump, but no needle to blow them up with. Unless they forgot to pack mine. And the air pump did not work. I have my own compressor and needle though. Another thing that worries me is thinnest of black fabric ball return. You can se in my pic it's thin. I hope it holds up. and no rips. So bottom line is for $109 it's not a bad deal.

Arcade level!
Instructions were at times difficult to discern, but overall it wasn’t bad to assemble. Plan on a good hour or so with someone helping. Once up and put together, it’s awesome! A lot of fun for kids and adults. No complaints.

I love this thing. It's fun!! It was not hard to assemble (the instructions are clear and accurate) the material does not seem cheap either. Good quality. For 180 taxes in (that's what I paid) it's worth it. Thanks.
