fingerprint scanner also works on sp3?

I have MS3 Pro and yes this keyboard and fingerprint scanner work just fine.

Can I use this with my surface pro 3?

Yes it works with the Surface pro 3

Is this type cover keyboard have the backlit keys?

Yes the keys are backlit, but I do not remember what needs to be done(if anything) to enable the lights. I do not use the Surface often at night.

Is the fingerprint scanner worth it?

I think it is. It is very sensitive to how you place your finger. The good news is that if you placed your finger incorrect;y, it only takes a 4 digit code to start the surface. The only problem is now when I get a full size keyboard, I will want one with a finger print reader.
