Some even claim to be better. In my experience though, it simply isn’t true. I’m no chemist or anything, but DeoxIT hit on something with their products. They ALL work well, doing exactly what they claim that they will, and doing it without causing any downstream issues. This is especially true of F5 fader lubricant. I make sure to keep a small can of this in each of my guitar cases & a larger one with my amps. Simply because it works really WELL & never has failed me. I’ve also tried a lot of the others, but they invariably either don’t seem to lubricate well enough to begin with, or they introduce additional problems such as catching & holding onto contaminates which can cause noisiness and intermittent cutting out.
