ThuleCrossover 2 Laptop Backpack, 20L

I use a backpack daily for work, gym and commuting in NYC. And tend to beat the crap out of them! Have always bought Lululemon but they changed some of the features of my favorite pack and started using lower quality zippers and materials. I shopped around exhaustively in stores and online for a replacement and looked at hundreds of choices. What I like about this pack is the high quality of the materials. It's more like premium luggage - and sturdy so it keeps its shape and can sit on a table or bench without falling over. While a bit more compact than others I looked at, it holds just as much and has some great features like the EMF protected zipper area and a spot for an external cellphone battery with clever hole for cord. The laptop area is great and would hold more than one the way its designed. Awesome if you carry both laptop and ipad. The sunglasses area is also genius as there are spaces for 2 pairs and a small zipper compartment for things like lip balm or glasses cleaner wipes. I'm impressed with the high quality and will purchase this brand when I next need to replace my other luggage or get a backpack for my son. I get lots of compliments on this stylish/clean-looking pack, too! It's an overall excellent design and promises to hold up well for a very, very long time.

I’m so mad I had to return this bag due to inadequate bottle pocket size. I was looking for a replacement commuter laptop backpack. The size was perfect, and I appreciate the structure and separate laptop pocket. I could deal with some of the depth limitations of the small pockets, but I couldn’t even get a standard 24 oz hydro flask in the external bottle easily. Forget about my slightly bigger coffee mug.

Just the right size for me. I ride the bus and the train to work and back. I pack my 14 inch laptop, a Kindle, a smartphone, earbuds, rain suite and a light jacket. There is no spare space after these are put in, but they are well packed and well kept. The bag itself is very sturdy, to a level of stiffnes. I guess that once it gets a little broken down with use, it will be even comfier. A definite five stars for the quality and design

I was on the fence between the 20L and the much larger looking 30L model. I decided to go with the 20L since a previous product question answered that a 15.6" PC would be a tight fit, but doable, and I am happy to see that my 15.6" laptop (slim HP Zbook) fits quite comfortably in the laptop pouch (just not in the laptop sleeve that is in the dedicated laptop pouch). the laptop edges are a little close to the zipper in the vertical direction, but otherwise it works great! I occasionally travel with both my bigger work computer and my personal 13.1" PC and after a quick check they both fit snugly together in the laptop pouch.Otherwise everything about the backpack is exceptional and as expected: clean, sleek, and professional look paired with and a durable material that holds its shape well in any packing scenario. I'm excited to use it for my daily commutes and trips.

I wanted to love this. Given the cost, I should have. But in fact, it's hard to love this bag. Its looks are stunning, but that's the best thing I can say about it. The compartments are too rigid and difficult to open and fully access. The shoulder straps are made of a slippery fabric that slides off the shoulders. It doesn't hold very much compared with bags of similar size. It's all style and little substance. For this price, one can surely find a bag that checks all boxes and satisfies fully. This isn't that bag.

Have used it daily for work for over a year and it still looks pretty much brand new. Carries my laptop, cables and various papers, notebooks and folders. Stays upright and sturdy. I have it in dark blue and it looks elegant enough to carry even if dressed in suit and tie.

This backpack checked every box for me. I was looking to replace a work backpack that I wear to the office, and did a lot of research before purchasing. I’m a filmmaker and usually have 1-2 laptops, a hard drive, cables, computer charges, folders/book, and I can fit all of this with ease, it’s sturdy and my items feels safe, and it looks great and holds up well in travel. Very satisfied with this purchase and had to leave a review.
