My students LOVE THIS! I teach 7th grade science and this lollipopter is an amazing visual for my lessons on genetics!! It is so fun to use and it really captures the attention of my students as well!!

In modern times, real toys are quickly losing ground to online entertainment, and many of the toys that are left are cheap plastic aimed at young kids. This is a great item to keep on your desk or around the house. My kids and colleagues enjoy using it.

This is advertised as a "stress toy" and it certainly could be, but what fascinates me is the engineering and simplicity behind it. The directions recommend you don't twirl it with the stick between your palms but it's the only way I can get it to twirl hard enough. I suppose if you're gentle about it, it's ok. There's a trick to getting a bit of abrupt "stop" at the end of an abrupt twirl. I got a green one and it looks like a plant-ish thing, but I'd love if they made bigger ones, and in more decent colors than the garish neon Whatnots, but since this is for kids, maybe they enjoy that (black and white would be neat!) It IS very relaxing and you can't put it down once you get the hang of it. Showing it to people but not telling then what happens is like showing a kid a magic trick and all in all, it is! They just look like: O.o and ask what the heck just happened. Fun! I'd recommend buying them for anyone - it's a unique gift.

Being practical has never been my strong suit and buying this product ranks right up there! However, it's just plain fun to own. The whole family wants one now. I plan to keep it in my office at work. I bought the green one since customers commented on it being like a plant. It was hard making a color choice. I did think the price was a little too high, but glad I own it. Recommended.

Neat little toy, and the stand it comes with makes it easy to display. I think if the stick were a little longer it would be easier to spin properly, but I guess it wouldn't look good on the mount.

the parts that arent damaged work well and are very satisfying to click together, but one of the little stems arrived pre-bent for my convenience, i suppose. so it gets stuck and doesnt really turn down there. i like the little stand it comes with though and its just as pretty as the picture
