What water bottle cover can I use with these?

Am I supposed to be able to take the cap apart to wash it? I got an email from the seller saying something about an O-ring.

Yes definitely. You can remove the O-ring, which is nested inside the cap, with a tool that has a pointed end such as a small fork. Be careful not to damage the O-ring though. I hope it helps!

Are these bottles light enough to be used as portable drink bottles?

They're a little heavier than plastic water bottles but that hasn't stopped our family from using them as portable drink bottles. I fill them with cold water and keep them in the refrigerator. My teenagers grab them on their way out the door.

are these colored bottles or clear?

clear and beautiful. I bought them with some black neoprene sleeves made for maybe a 20 oz. bottle and they fit SO nicely and protect them if they fall. But it is good quality glass, and non-leak lids. Love them! I make up a large batch of tea for several days at a time...
