ordered the Earth Mama Belly Butter and it’s been a really nice addition to my pregnancy skincare routine. The cream feels nourishing and leaves my skin soft and hydrated without feeling heavy. It absorbs fairly quickly, which I appreciate because it doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on the skin. The scent is light and pleasant, and the formula feels very gentle. I’ve also found it works really well when paired with the Earth Mama belly oil. I’ve become a big fan of Earth Mama products in general, they’ve quickly become some of my go-to pregnancy and postpartum care items. The quality is great, and the price feels very reasonable for how well the products work. Overall, this is a moisturizing and soothing belly cream that helps keep skin soft and comfortable during pregnancy and beyond. Definitely recommend, especially if you already love Earth Mama products.

Let me tell you! This stuff WORKS. Didn’t get a single stretch mark on my belly the whole pregnancy. I thought maybe I was immune to them, but I never applied this lotion to my hips and I got stretch marks there! So I’d say this definitely works, have been using it postpartum still to nourish my skin and heal my stretch marks I did get. Very moisturizing and I love the smell, it’s sort of citrusy, orangey. It’s a little bit oily but the consistency is like a lotion. Great value for the money especially if you get the belly oil duo pack. I used both. I love this brand and it’s clean ingredients

I can’t imagine a better belly butter. It rubs in nicely and sinks in almost immediately — even when you put a heavy amount on, it sinks into the skin within a few minutes. It has a subtle, pleasant citrus smell — trust me, all sorts of smells have been overwhelming and nauseating, but this is nice and natural smelling. And it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Since becoming pregnant, I’ve been sensitive to everything and some skin products that used to work now give me contact dermatitis, but this is soothing and my skin hasn’t reacted badly whatsoever — I’m even using it as a face moisturizer now. Also didn’t realize when I purchased that this is made by a smaller, Oregon-based company. Love it and highly recommend!

I used this Body Butter and the Earth Mama Angel Baby Natural Stretch Oil from the second month of pregnancy until birth. I used the body butter after showering in the morning and the oil half an hour before going to bed (I would rub it on my belly and breasts and just let it soak in without a shirt on). I have to say I loved the fresh citrus smell of the body butter and how fluidly it went on the skin. I had previously bought cocoa butter and that just made me so nauseous, so that's when I decided to try the Earth Mama products. Did these products help prevent stretchmarks? Sadly, no. I was so in love with using these products I thought they would do the trick, but no. On month 8 of my pregnancy I started noticing stretchmarks on the lower left side of my belly, so I decided to increase the body butter usage to twice a day, and the oil at nighttime, but still the stretchmarks appeared! In part, I blame it on genetics, when I went through puberty I developed stretchmarks on my thighs and butt, mom has ém too... As far as weight gain, I gained 35lbs at the end of my pregnancy, I recommend using the products anyways... who knows how many more stretchmarks I would've had if I hadn't used this. Another comment is all my pijama shirts got stained/smelly from the oil, also my bed sheets, took a few washes to get the smell out, hope my comment helps!!

I just delivered a month ago and even though I'm sleep deprived with little time to do anything other than taking care of baby, I feel obligated to write this review as this really worked for me. My skin is stretch mark prone even though I have always been of average weight, and I have a lot of old stretch marks on my hips and behind my knees from my growth spurt during adolescence. So I was really concerned about pregnancy related stretch marks (I put on 30 pounds during my pregnancy) and I'm so pleased to report that this product really worked for me, but I wanted to tell you specifically how I used it. I was really dedicated to moisturizing my belly with this product twice a day from like month 3 of my pregnancy, before I even started getting bigger. I will admit that the smell was a little strong for me with my super pregnancy sense of smell at that time, so I actually mixed the lotion for a couple of months with a little lavender essential oil that I could tolerate the smell of a little better. I also added some drops of pure vitamin E oil, and some coconut oil, aloe vera juice and glycerin that I had on hand to the product to reduce the smell but mostly to make it even more moisturizing for my growing belly. I think that the addition of these natural moisturizing items probably helped too but I'm not sure and I do think that the product is very moisturizing on its own and is not greasy at all. Ultimately though I think that the key to preventing stretch marks for me was consistency in moisturizing my belly twice a day (morning/midday and then at bed time) diligently from very early on in my pregnancy and to the day I delivered. I believe that you can stay stretch mark free even with a giant belly with consistent moisturizing using a really good lotion like this.

My wife is pregnant and wanted a lotion with clean ingredients. We were surprised to see many store belly creams advertised didn't have the most natural or cleanest ingredients. This cream not only has clean ingredients (according to our Yuka App) but she was surprised to notice that after 4 applications (morning and night applications) her belly feels soft and moisturized! The bottle is small, but one pump in the morning in evening is working for her so far. Highly recommend!

The product is ok, it smells good and isn't greasy. My biggest complaint is the pump. You get one good pump of lotion out of it and then it won't pump any more unless you let it sit a while.

Love the mild, sweet smell of this cream and it does a good job moisturizing. Not too heavy, good for every day use after a shower. Good choice for expecting moms

My daughter told me about this product and said it would make a great cream for my dry skin. Wow! This is the best I have ever used! My skin loves it and I love the easy way it is absorbed leaving only the faintest hint of citrus on my skin . Although it says it is a body butter it is more like a thick ceam, rubs in easily and my skin feels wonderful. No more dryness either. The only thing that is a tad anoying is that it is difficult to get right to the bottom of the container and I have to resort to cutting it in half in order to get to all of it - but then I do this with a lot of products. That said the product alone is good enought to warrant five stars. Even better is the fact that it contains no nasty ingredients.

I’m obsessed with this belly butter!! I honestly use it on my whole body since my skin is starting to get really dry and itchy. It instantly helps relieve the dryness and leaves my skin looking super moisturized! It has a really nice smell that I want to say is almost citrusy!

Really lovely cream I used throughout pregnancy to help prevent stretch marks and to soothe my itching skin. It smells like chocolate orange, which I actually really liked. I only used it at bedtime though and not during the day in case it set off my morning sickness, although it never did. Definitely recommend.
