There's even a prayer about apologizing when we hurt someone. It's inclusive of many religious traditions, both East and West. It has some traditional Christian prayers, but also more modern ones from the Unitarian faith, and even a couple Pagan ones and an Irish blessing. I plan to tag some pages labeled with the occasion I'd use the prayer for, especially the ones appropriate for bedtime and mealtime. Another review mentioned that the price is too high, but really, I think it's priced right for a hardcover. The length is just right for children--you can read the whole thing at once, or you can pick and choose for different occasions. It's a great prayer book for any family who is open-minded about different traditions and appreciates the beauty of prayers and poetry! ### ⭐⭐ Small small small book *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 6, 2012* I purchased this book for my 8 yr old grand daughter, She loves to read my prayer book and blessings book but being only 8, she doesn't understand most of the wording. I thought this would be perfect for her, as she loves to pray with me and read the prayers aloud. I received it today and it looks like a book that I could have purchased at the Dollar Store. Not many pages and a very SMALL book.I saw a nice big prayer book for children at Walmart a few weeks ago. It cost approx the same as this book cost. $10.80. After reviewing this book, I will be purchasing that book from Walmart.I would return it, however, I'm disabled and have to rely on my only daughter for rides. She works during the day. I do not have a printer and refuse to pay for shipping to return it.I have purchased many many items from Amazon, and this book was clearly misleading. In the few years I have been ordering, I only had one complaint and the seller contacted me right away as it was a manufacturer mistake. Since that item was defective ($4.00 item) the seller sent me a new one right away w/o the hassle of returning the defective product.Save your money and look around and I promise you will find a better deal w/much more literature that can be purchased for the same price.Very disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We love this little book *by P***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 27, 2011* I gave this book to my daughter when she was three and she quickly memorized her favorite pages. She does not love every single page (we skip a few of them at her request) but we both love most of them want to read this book over and over again at bedtime. She also likes to recite one of the blessings on her own when we don't have the book with us. Do not buy the book if you are averse to a prayer that says "goddess" or "great spirit," or if you are offended by different traditions.
