This elf "all day everyday makeup kit" comes with five pieces. 1.) The black mascara has a wand that has very low short, nubby bristles on it and it's very flexible and the formula goes on incredibly smooth without any clumping.Just one coat doubled my eyelashes in length and tripled my eyelashes in volume. Definitely would increase that with additional layers. No fragrance to the formula.And it wore very well, did not flake or smudge during wearing it for 6 hours. The only CON , is that upon reading the ingredient list propylene Glycol was towards the top of the list, not a very clean or safe option to have on the eyes on a regular basis In my opinion. But i'm reviewing the product itself, and the product itself is one of the better mascaras I have ever used!! 2.) The eyebrow gel and eyelash gel are really effective.I did a clear coat of the eyebrow gel after using an EYEBROW pencil and it defined My eyebrows better, made them look more natural.And also kept them in the shape I had created them. It helped to blend the eyebrow pencil, or blur it a little so the lines were less noticeable and looked more like full, healthy eyebrows. Made my eyebrows look more polished and professional. CON - the only downside is that it had propylene glycol as one of the main ingredients and there are more clean ingredients that I would have preferred to use, especially since it's so close to the eyes. However, this product works amazing and less expensive Ingredients would be expected in this very reasonably priced product. However, the clear EYELASH gel did not do anything for my eyelashes.It did not make them look more defined.And it did not help mascara stay on it any better, so I decided to use that one for my eyebrows too. (Looked like same clear formula). 3.) The lip gloss glides on easily and provides a nice shine and a typical stickiness, that is not overly distracting it.Wears nicely by itself or over lipstick or lip liner. It wears for maybe an hour or two before needing to be reapplied. 4.) The foundation primer made my skin fairly smooth, but it didn't add a lot of improvement to the texture of my skin for me.I felt like it was a little too much to have underneath my foundation and around the crease lines on my face It felt a little bit sticky. It did not help my foundation stay on longer.And on my crease lines, I feel like it may have made my foundation wear off a little quicker. 5.) The makeup sponge is very nice.It holds foundation and helps to more evenly apply The makeup instead of using bare hands to apply foundation. It was easily blendable with this cosmetic sponge and made it easy to dab on even small areas where extra coverage was needed. It rinsed out fairly well when done using and took a few hours to dry out. Overall, I'd say this basic makeup kit is a good value for the price and definitely adds some luxury and polish to a person's everyday makeup kit. This would make a great gift or nice party favors for a bridal shower party. My 2 favorite pieces out of this 5 piece collection were the mascara and the brow clear primer. For me, the kit was worth it just for those two items!! Con: the backside of the package listed ingredients for each of the products but the color of the ink was so faint and so small that it was almost impossible to read the ingredients. Propylene glycol was in several of the products which is not a real clean makeup choice. However, the price point of this product was very reasonable which helps to overshadow ingredient choices. Most of these products still performed very well for me!!

Hello, Amazon family! I Used to be a professional model for over 10 years so I have used and still use several different brands of makeup and tons of different products. When I started using the elf brand I was a little skeptical but now I am a true believer! The only thing that I added to this all day everyday makeup kit was powder and eyeshadow. It truly has everything that you need for any type of look. I have never used the power grip primer so yesterday I experimented with it. I work really long hours as a doctor and even though I'm half asleep when I start my shift I still do not want to look like I'm half asleep, I'm sure you all understand that! The primer is the best way to start your look after washing your face and applying your moisturizer, even though the power grip already has moisturizers in it, I am just a firm believer in starting off your face with a really good, healthy moisturizer. Included a picture of exactly how much primer I use for my entire face. It is a dot. If you were like me and have never used it before, just dab to the main areas of your face. I did; chin, tip of nose, cheek, eyelid and middle of forehead, then used the sponge to blend. It blends very easily and wait one minute before applying facial powder or foundation. I want to talk about the sponge that is included. It is absolutely amazing high quality, as all of the products from elf. You will not be disappointed. Do not let the price point fool you. I have spent tons of money on designer products and the elf products are far more Superior in quality, color saturation and long wearing. I have had this face on for 14 hours and let me tell you the power grip primer actually works wonderfully. I haven't even had a touch up at lunch. Okay back to the sponge, it is awesome. No flaking. There wasn't anything left behind as you blend you will absolutely love it. I also washed it this morning to see how it would fare and it washed instantly and dried very quickly. After I put on the primer, allowed it to set for one minute, I applied a little bit of pressed powder then went to work on eyeshadow. There is a noticeable difference with the power grip primer. It brings out the pigment in your eyeshadow and it makes it adhere much more nicely and applies easier. The primer itself does not clog your pores and it does not look like you're wearing anything. Do not be concerned when you first put it on, as it feels like it's going to be very sick but as it dries that ceiling dissipates as well, just make sure that you're not glumping it on use a little bit, it really does do what it says as well as hydrating properties Which makes the primer, as well as the other items, suitable for all skin types. After applying eyeshadow I used clear eyebrow brush and it is not clumpy at all. It leaves behind a natural look. Although I did use an eyebrow dry brush to kind of spread it around a little bit, but that was my personal decision. It was unnecessary, I did it out of habit to be honest with you LOL. The mascara is absolutely amazing. No clumping makes your lashes look full and thick!! I was pretty impressed. Another thing that I really love about this makeup, is that if you have sensitive eyes or skin, this is still going to work for you. Where I live right now it is severe allergy season and my eyes are overly sensitive to everything so it's a little concerned about trying this out yesterday. There were no problems at all. Very comfortable so you can feel safe using this under all situations. The mascara brush Glides on very easily and softly onto your actual lashes so you only have to go over it once unless you want a more dramatic look. I applied it twice. One application really gives a natural look. The last thing that I played was the lip gloss which is now my all-time favorite. It is very easy to apply, super shiny and it really moisturizes your lips. The only gripe that I have about the lip gloss, is that it does not last that long, but it feels awesome and there is no flavor. This kit can be used by itself for a natural look, thrown in your gym bag, purse briefcase or travel bag to give you a little touch up on the go or to create an amazing dramatic look, especially while using this power grip primer! If you have high pigmented makeup and want it to pop this is your kit if you're looking for that everyday. Natural shiny glowing skin look. This is also your kit! Because the product lasts so long you will not have to replace it anytime soon and because it is so versatile and its usage, you do not have to buy extra product which in turn is going to be saving you money. This bundle has a nice selection of base items. The sponge is small and easy to hold in your hand while making application of the primer smoother. The primer held the day without drying out my skin and making my foundation collect in my lines. I use the brow gel to help form and shape where my brows are a bit thinner. It seems to hold well and I noticed that it kept a couple of my wilder brow hairs in place. The one product that absolutely has sold me is the mascara. I have been wearing the same brand for years, so I was interested in trying it, more than any of the products in the bundle. I have thin but longer lashes. I notice that with some mascara they end up losing the curl and flatter out near the end of the day. The elf mascara did not. The brush is slightly curved making it easier to get towards the inner eyelashes. The bristles are shorter so no risk of clumping. Now this may be an unnecessary part of my review but sadly it's true. I had the unfortunate experience of having to put one of my dogs down. After crying at the vets, I returned to my car with the intention of cleaning my face up before I drove home. When I broke out my mirror my eyes, other than swollen and red looked great. I didn't have any signs of dripping mascara lines and my lashes hadn't falled flat. I was actually pretty impressed. Not the best situation and I hadn't on putting the mascara through a cry test for a review either. But I can at least report it held up great. Even when I washed my face that night, I still had to use remover for the mascara. So not only did it last all day long, it lasted through hours of tears. Despite the reason, I have now decided this will be my new brand for mascara, going forward.

I used elf cosmetics years ago when they first come in the scene. They were okay but I wasn't a fan of most of the face or eye products so stopped using them. But after trying this new set, I'm a new/returning convert!! Here's my thoughts/ratings on each: -Mascara, 5/5: THE SHINING STAR of any/all elf cosmetics I've tried, ever!! This feels like a FABULOUS dupe of a much more expensive brand that claims it's better than s3x, lol. I've used that mascara almost exclusively since it came out but with it costing $20+ a tube, this mascara is a miracle find that I hope they never stop making!! Primer, 3/5: it does grip makeup but is very sticky & not great at concealing/filling larger pores. -Clear brow gel & mascara, 4/5: I honestly didn't see much difference in the two formulas but it works as expected - goes on clear, helps calm fly away stay brows and separates & (minimally) thickens eyelashes. -Lip gloss, 3/5: I also didn't notice much difference in this formula vs what I remember of their gloss from years ago, which is just a little too tacky & easily transferable for me. -Blender sponge, 5/5: love that they included one, presumably for the primer. While I didn't see any noticeable difference using it with that vs applying with my hand, you can never have too many beauty blenders, IMO! And the shape of this one is very versatile yet easy to grip/has a natural feel in your hand. Overall, while I did rate a couple at a 3 & technically I'd usually give a 4-star rating in that scenario - for the cost, I feel like the mascara alone makes this a 5-star product, with everything else being a bonus!!

This is such a smart little kit. It has all you need to feel a little more out together. At $21, currently, each product averages (minus the sponge) to just over $5 so that seems pretty good, but I don't know if I'd pay 5 for each of them, especially the sample primer. The clear brow gel/mascara, clear gloss, and black mascara are so smart and make a lot of sense. The primer and makeup sponge a little less so since they imply that you'll be putting on more makeup, and the beauty of this kit is that you could get by with just the kit itself. On the other hand, it's a good start, and all you would need is your own foundation and an eye pallette. The mascara is great and lengthens and thickens in a very natural way. The clear brow gel/mascara is a very versatile product and the clear gloss feels smooth and soft, not extremely moisturizing but not sticky or uncomfortable. The primer has a nice soft and tacky feel and the sponge is nice. Overall, it's great. Likes + great for a natural but elevated look + I like all the products + good mascara lengthens and thickens in a natural way + clear brow gel / mascara is very versatile + clear gloss feels nice Dislikes - the sample size primer and sponge seem like a throwaway addition - each product averages to just over $5 (I didn't include the sponge) which I would pay for some not all.

This review is for the elf All Day Every Day makeup kit. This is a great set of basics at a good price. You get a face primer, mascara, clear lip gloss, and eyebrow gel. I like that the eyebrow gel and lip gloss are both clear so that they don’t interfere with any natural color you might have. They are good for a natural look. The lip gloss has a vanilla smell to it that I like and is easy to apply with the doe foot applicator. The face primer is a hydrating style primer and is like your typical silicone based primer in that it helps fill in pores a bit for a smoother application of your foundation. The primer isn’t too large in case you don’t like how it feels--this is a good size to try it out. The lip gloss was probably my favorite in this kit. It’s not sticky or tacky and it’s good to slick on and make your lips feel better and add some gloss. The eyebrow gel helps tame without flaking or feeling too sticky. You also get a makeup sponge that works like most other ones do. This would be a great kit for someone younger who’s just getting into makeup, or as a travel kit for someone who travels frequently. Great value.

This e.l.f. Every day makeup kit is OK but the amount amounts just seemed weird. I feel like if you’re getting a full tube of mascara and a full tube of gel, that they should give a little bit more primer since that’s a bigger surface area to cover then just your eyebrows and your eyelashes. It just feels like they provided me a ton of product for areas that need a tiny amount and then this little tiny travel size that will last maybe three or four applications for the largest part of my face when I’ll be using the gel and mascara for months. The mascara is OK, and I’ll definitely only use it when I’m out of my regular stuff because it’s super clumpy. The gel is also pretty thick so you’ll need to make sure and really wipe the wand off otherwise you’ll have this big clump of clear gel that you’ll just have to waste and wipe off anyway. Maybe that’s why they gave you so much clear gel?? I did not find the primer to be moisturizing. I have used other products including their face primer and it just felt like their acne formula and my skin didn’t feel refreshed and moisturized, but rather sort of chalky. I typically rely on a light dusting of powder on my “easy” makeup days, so this primer won’t work at all since it already kind of dries my skin out. I don’t know, I’m just really disappointed that they gave me too much product of one and not enough product of another, and then their products don’t really perform that well. Also, I felt like primer was a really strange thing to include in this travel kit when they included a finishing gel and a finishing mascara. Why would you include the first step of my makeup care and then the last step but like absolutely nothing in between? At first I thought this was like a primer starter kit so you could have a little bag to have all your priming stuff in but it’s just kind of a mixture of random stuff. I don’t think I’ll buy from this company again.

The Power Grip Primer is a standout it gives that slightly tacky base that really helps makeup stay put all day while still looking smooth and natural. My foundation applies beautifully over it and doesn’t budge. The Lash ‘N Roll Mascara is another favorite.
