SavinelliRoma Rustic 606 KS Lucite Stem Tobacco Pipe

I saw this Savinelli model in a pipe shop some 25 years ago, and I fell I love with it right there on the spot! When I picked it up I was surprised at how light and well-balanced it felt. And the first time I smoked it.....that's when the real magic happened.This particular model "The Roma 606" has just the perfect bowl diameter-to- depth ratio for a long relaxing smoke. And that would explain why this is the only pipe I've ordered (over and over again). Personally, I prefer the rusticated finish (as opposed to a smooth finish) -- I just like the way it feels in my hand!The bowl will stay comfortable to the touch if you pack it properly (not too tightly), and I can usually get a good 35-40 minute smoke each time. It draws well, so I don't have to keep relighting. And, with ordinary care, this specific pipe will last me about 3-5 years. I usually always smoke a semi-moist cherry aromatic blend.
