Love this kit !!! So far we have made lemon foam , balsamic pearls and cucumber caviar. So tasty easy to follow Instructions and everything you need to get started.

Where’s the slotted spoon? I very much dislike ordering something then to found out, it’s missing items.The description clearly state: 1 slotted spoon!So, where is it?I’m returning this.

I got this for my gf and she is an adept cook and nothing came out according to instructions. The tools were not effective.

As far as starter kits go, I would categorize this one as extremely scant. Most people who are looking into molecular cuisine probably already have a good amount of kitchen tools and gadgets already. The spherification spoon is so small, that I found it nearly impossible to pick up any larger spheres and is only good for caviar. The spoon is so flat that even that is difficult. I ended up using a regular spoon instead. The tubing that you use to make gel noodles is very short. The silicone mold is ok for making small spheres and won't fit the recommend tablespoon of liquid. For anyone seriously looking into exploring molecular techniques, I would strongly recommend you buy the proper tools, albeit it may be a bit higher, because you will end up buying them eventually anyway.I think that this starter kit is geared towards someone who has more of a science background and wants to dabble in exploring food science. It can also be a good gift for a student who is just starting to explore culinary arts. It's not for the kitchen professional or serious home cook who wants to acquire a skill

The listing photos and the silver band on the box itself shows that it should come with 50 recipes. I reached out to the company, mmtum, to see if I was missing a dvd or booklet, they said: Not all of our products come with the book, only a select few are with the book or DVD, the rest are with instruction booklets that hold 2-3 recipes. Only products that come with the book have the book displayed in the Contents section along with an image of the book in the product images. Nowhere in the product description does it say that these products come with recipes. Please read carefully.Read carefully, examined the physical product carefully, and it still says 50 molecular gastronomy recipes under Includes on the silver box band.

It was a gift and they love it

Ich habe das Set meinem Freund zu Weihnachten geschenkt. Er als Chemiker und einer der gerne mal kocht, hat sicher sehr drüber gefreut. Wir kamen aus Umzugs gründen leider noch nicht zu das Set aus zu probieren. Aber den Abzug des Sternes kann ich trotzdem verteilen, da dieses Set sehr klein ist und gar nicht wirkt wenn man es dann vor sich liegen hat. Es ist alles drin was drin sein muss und ich bin auch kein Fan wenn zum Beispiel zu große Kantons für kleine Sachen genommen werden aber für den Preis hat man sich dann doch mehr vorgestellt.Trotzdem hat es sein Zweck erfühlt ich habe meinen Freund Glücklich gemacht und ich bin gespannt wie dann letztendlich das Resultat wird.
