I've got around this by painting mine with Copydex latex adhesive, but it does make them look grubby, so it would be better to have tacky or rubberised areas built in, in addition to the cut protection. Without the tack, I was actually more likely to have an accident grabbing at things that were slipping out of one hand, while I had a knife in the other; more likely to break crockery too; or drop things on your foot...The gloves took exactly 2 months to arrive, and I had half given up on them by the time they did, though the vendor was quite pleasant in their reassurances whenever I enquired. On the tracking, they were listed as 'delivered' when they were meant to be listed as 'dispached'. I thought they must have gone astray when I saw this, but it was a mistake at the vendor's end.I'm finding them useful, now that I have modified them. I must caution that I've not actually tried deliberately cutting myself through them to see if they work. The material although tough and resilient enough to prevent any kind of cuts or grazes, are exceptionally comfortable and to a degree actually warm and thin enough not to hamper or hinder the user during intricate work. Therefore these gloves offer good protection to those working in mechanics, sheet metal work, bodywork on cars, and obviously those employed in food preparation, kitchen staff, Chef’s, Cooks, etc. For the mechanic these would be a boon in use because they would offer good protection from sharp metal edges and obtrusive engine components when working in confined area’s. Just coming back to our friends the mechanics, it is especially good to note that they do allow you to work with small nuts and bolts, plus small washers, without making you feel clumsy.
