"She sucks up to Winifred [Bette Midler's character] every chance she gets. She wants to be part of the power club and Winifred's got the power."|To create the costumes, designer Mary Vogt read many historical books about Salem, Massachusetts. "I even read diaries of women who were hanged as witches," she says. Although there are many movies that are frightening and horrific, none of them come close to encompassing the feeling of spooky season quite like this one, this is the greatest Halloween film ever made. The entire movie feels like a nostalgic postcard... from the incredibly detailed sets, costuming and score, to the visual and special effects (which look better than most modern movies). Bette, Sarah and Kathy deliver a level 10 on the scale of "camp" humor, truly hysterical. Films like this just aren't made anymore.

Best Comedy Halloween movie ever!
Excellent child friendly Halloween movie that can be watched with the entire family! I have always loved Hocus Pocus and for some reason never owned it until now. It is filled with comedy and Halloween related things such as zombies and black cats. If you’re a witch lover, a black cat lover or even a comedy lover then this is the Disney movie for you!
