The Soul Genie 4 quart bag is perfect. I highly recommend it. It is by far the best bag I have ever used. I have purchased several other brands that do not last very long, but this one seems indestructible. I used the first bag daily for over a year, and then when I traveled I forgot the bag, so I bought a second one and leave it at my daughter's house. At first, I was concerned about the hook carrying the weight of 4 quarts, but the metal "S" hook and the reinforced hole at the top work really well (and after a year show zero signs of weakness or concern). I have a weird bathroom setup, so I attach and hold the whole thing using a wooden hanger (with a metal hook) and hang the enema bag on the hanger, and then I have more flexibility to hang the whole thing on the cabinet in my bathroom. Then when the bag is empty, I just move the hanger/plus enema bag over to my shower for cleaning. The hanger fits nicely over the towel rod in the shower and it's easier to fill with soapy water and let soak, and then drain into the tub and hang to dry. In bathrooms where there is not an easy place to hang the bag (and hanger) I bought an "S" hook for massage and put that on the high cabinet and then hang the bag & hanger on one of the knobs about half way down. Also, this S massage hook is fabulous for reaching sore spots on my back, but obviously not when I am using the fabulous Soul Genie...;)

I had a giggle when I found the box at my door, " Hee, hee, What if a porch pirate had stolen this ? Tee hee hee !" PROS : I am really impressed that this is just like old fashioned rubber (perhaps it is the new silicone, but I can't tell ) not at all plastic. The hose is a really good silicone . Everything sealed properly.CONS: I went to smell the rubber but couldn't because of an OVERPOWERING SCENTED POWDER, that they LIGHTLY dusted the interior with. I can understand dusting the inside slightly, so as not to stick together in shipping. Those shipping containers can be baking in the sun for up to a months time shipping from China. Perhaps dusting it with corn starch or something would have been better. I ALWAYS AVOID UNNECESSARY SCENTS IN EVERYTHING ! I only buy unscented laundry soaps or other various products They need to use something unscented! Another Con- how to wash this scent out, its too big to soak in a large pot without crunching it together. I filled a quart measuring cup with soapy water and rinsed it out at the sink, but it did nothing to rid the scent. Perhaps filling it as you would for an enema but with the valve locked (with soapy water) and hang it in the tub soaking a few hours. If I can't get the perfumed oder out, I am returning it.HELPFUL IDEAS : Also I thought the hose is shorter but it is 5 feet, (60 inches) . I had to get out my old enima set to figure the difference. Only the did I realize that I had been hanging the old set on a lower handicap rail in my tub (sr citizen bldg). In the meantime I was trying to think of safer ways to use it.1) If you have metal shower curtain hooks, borrow one to hang over the shower rod .2) Buy some sturdy chain from hardware store to lower bag. Even bring the shower curtain hook I you want to buy a specific S hook or something for the rod itself. One guy put a nail in his wall to hang it, I didn't think I wanted that. WHAT A SHAME, A NEARLY PERFECT PRODUCT RUINED BY SCENTING IT ! This a "medical device", there should be no scent whatsoever !Nurses and staff in nursing homes are not allowed to wear perfumes because people that are sick can have oversensitivies to scents, not to mention allergy's, respiratory problems etc. I don't have much hope for ridding it of this scent, unfortunately I'm most likely returning it. : ((

Yeah, it smells weird, but...I find it to be much better than the shoddy makeshift bag I had been using before. It's clearly very well made, and of high quality. If you can hold out, the smell does subside and it will be a fantastic product.The only gripe I can make about the product is that it doesn't seal closed. The top of the bag is completely open, so you're stuck with gravity as the only way to receive your enema. While this is the correct way to receive an enema (you don't want to add too much positive pressure), I like the option in the event my body is trying to expel the liquid, and I want to keep the flow going down instead of up, back into the bag.Also, the nozzles don't really keep the liquid in for me, but I've been using my makeshift retention nozzle from my older setup and it's worked well to make sure I don't prematurely expel the liquid around the nozzle, and I would recommend that others do the same in the event that they're also unable to keep themselves from making a mess before the enema is finished making its way in to their colon.

Size of bag at 4L is perfect for a large enema. Don't have to fill it all the way if you want to go smaller.Downsides: Included tubing is not great, gets loose on the bag after a few uses. If you use warm water, tubing gets even softer and you feel like it's just going to come off the end of the bag if you aren't careful.Smell is very strong upon arrival. Suggest filling and rinsing a few times before first use.If the tubing was higher quality this would get 5 stars, however, as it stands, 4 stars is my rating.
