**Q: Can this be used with just batteries (hands free)**
A: It has a rechargeable battery just like a mobile phone. So just keep it charged up

**Q: Should the radio flash in red while on? it initially flashed in blue, but then changed to red. why has the colour changed? does it indicate an issue?**
A: The light goes red when it’s low on battery. Unfortunately this radio needs to be charged, I use mine every day all day for my budgies so I just leave it plugged in all day on charge whilst it’s playing. Blue light just shows it’s on I believe but yeah red light normal indicates it’s low battery. Hope this helps x

**Q: How do i no when it needs charging and when its chargerd**
A: There is a wee light that is red when needs charging and blue when its charged .

**Q: Can it be used whilst charging?**
A: Hi there, yes it can be used while charging. The worst thing is its comes with a pathetically short cable. Fortunately the cable I use with my Kindle fits the charging point on the back. Happy listening.

Absolutely wonderful little radio and good value for money, the sound quality is really good and goes unexpectedly loud! Would be great for taking on a camping trip! Not tried out the battery life as of yet, but does come with charger so it not a problem for me. The style is lovely and exactly what I wanted for my county kitchen.

Great for camping 🏕 📻 Pros: 💛Lovely vintage look (matte cream colour) 💛portable size with handle (faux leather) 💛rechargeable battery 💛 good bass and sound quality/volume for size Cons: One reason I brought this was for the Bluetooth feauture, so you can listen to the radio or your own playlist by connecting your phone. I quickly discovered however that the Bluetooth signal was very weak, and the sound would start to crackle, if my phone was even a foot away from the radio. For this reason I can only mark this with 4 stars, as I would expect a longer range like you get with similar speakers of same size and price. Overall though I am happy with this, the sound quality and volume are very good for the size.
