Review: Works great for foam - I did not buy to cut meat. I bought this to cut foam for crafting things and it works so well. I’m sure it’d cut meat well as well but that’s not what I needed it for. It’s easy to use and fit my needs perfectly. I would buy it again but I haven’t had a need for a new one since this one is still working. Because I was cutting foam I did have to pull the blades or and clean it but that’s normal.

**Q: I really need a knife to help cut freshly baked crusty bread.  Anybody had experience with this knife for that purpose?**
A: This knife is no good for crusty bread.  I bought it to cut my home made sourdough. It just sits on the crust, the best you get is a scratch on the surface.  If you force it through, the blade flexes and bends making it impossible to get a good slice.

**Q: How long is the cord?**
A: It stretches to @5 feet

**Q: Will this knife slice through a square Salt Pork Bacon???**
A: It might, but I have only used it on roast meats, ham, bread, angel food cake,all of which it cuts through with no problem

**Q: Is this good for cutting fabric or plastic?**
A: Fabric, no..maybe lightweight plastic.. for sure it will foam.

I did not buy to cut meat. I bought this to cut foam for crafting things and it works so well. I’m sure it’d cut meat well as well but that’s not what I needed it for. It's not the great quality As a super old one I had. but i don't think anything is of great quality like it used to be. It worked fine to slice up our thanksgiving turkey. But when it came to slicing corn on the cob for the freezer, it tended to overheat. And stop working. It definitely was not intended for a hardcore job.
