Christmas Romance With A Touch Of Class
This is a charming movie with a bit of a twist. A princess disappears in New York City as she wants to remember sights and sounds of the city during the Christmas season. Her life is dictated to her by her well-meaning aunt who has scheduled her every waking moment with public appearances with both the media and the public. All the princess wants to do is spend one hour to see an art museum gallery showcasing famous photographs.During her absence, security personnel scour the city looking for her and she meets a coterie of colorful characters who are celebrating Christmas and include her in their joyous gatherings completely unaware of her status. What ensues is a romance and a reaffirmation of what Christmas should be and how life should connect people together who hold the same cherished values.Buy this movie, settle back and immerse yourself in a good story, impeccably performed, that will become and remain a treasured Christmas movie.

Roman Holiday Meets Christmas
This is my favourite Christmas movie. A nice take-off of Roman Holiday Princess Katie really wants to see an art exhibit but "matters of state" prevent it. My question is she's the princess she could set her foot down. So Katie decides to sneak off. She's walking the streets of New York when she's asked to take a man's picture. Not realizing she is being scammed she agrees. Enter Jack Langdon a contractor who tries to offer her a trip back to her hotel but declines. He gives her some cash. She asks a cab driver for a ride the driver quotes her a (probably overcharged) rate when she says she can pay her when they get there he turns her down. So Katie wandering the streets. Jack is having dinner at his sister's place only to learn herTed Baxterish's boyfriend Ross Hargrave is there. Jack remembers he has a gathering with his magician friend Harry. He finds Katie outside. After some small talk, he invites her inside. His friend Harry and his longtime assistant Dixie are surprised to see Jack with a "date". Harry asks Jack "the questions" while Dixie grills Katie. In the meantime both Jack and Katie are starting to fall for each In the meantime, Ross thinks he has the story that will propell him "that network job". He pursues it with the finesse of a bull in a china shop. When he learns who the mysterious "Katie Holiday" really is he tosses everything out the window. Finally with the cat out of the bag Katie confesses to Jack, Emma, and Harry her real identity. Jack decides he needs to bury himself in work and says goodbye. In his van he's looking over the pictures Katie took with her camera. He then calls a friend to pulls some strings to give her the showing she wanted all along. Katie's security detail finally catches up. Jack then follows her to her home country to where they live happily ever after. My rating is more four and a half stars because when they first kiss it didn't seem authentic. But a great movie.

It's a very good movie with a good lead actor, Paul Campbell!
An interesting story where a young princess wishes to break away from her scheduled royal duties long enough to revisit some of the Christmas memories she experienced as a child with her mother!

Typical Hallmark movie
I bought this one for Mom because she loves it, but never seems to be able to see it all at one time.
