Brilliant album.Fantastic live performances from a man who knows how to work his audience. I know a lot of people love to refer to him as a guilty pleasure, or make fun of him, but I think he comes across as a very down to earth guy with a great sense of humour. I think he's pretty humble for someone so talented and I love that he doesn't take himself too seriously.Tooo many artists these days are full of ego, but lack any real substance. He comes across as a real person and I love how his passion for life and love come shining thru' all his performances. There are some musicians who try too hard to 'work ' the audience, but he just seems to have them in the palm of his hand without trying.This album is full of a lot of his old classics and bring back so many great memories for me. A great album from start go finish. If I' m ever sad or need to feel energised this is the one I listen to.If you're a fan already buy this and if you're not you won't regret spending money on this.It's a classic.

I consider myself a Bryan Adams fan, but I only have a couple of his older CDs (think early nineties). I heard one of his songs on the radio a couple of weeks ago which rekindle my fire for this amazing singer - I ordered a couple of albums, "Bare Bones" being one of them. "Bare Bones" is a wonderful collection of bare songs soulfully performed by the Grammy Award-winning Bryan Adams - it's all acoustic! And the quality is sooo amazing that you literally forget that you are listening to the album [at home] - you are there in a small audience with Adams, laughing at his jokes and swinging to his melodies. I love the album and admire the bold move of the performer to strip down each of the songs to its foundations - it's just Bryan, his guitar and his great voice. And it seems, nothing else is needed. The set-list (a selection of song recorded at the various venues over a period of time) is amazing and organically blends with the intimate, almost camera, atmosphere. The album proves just how much personality Bryan Adams the artist has on stage. I wish I was in the audience.Seventy minutes of pure delight!

As a 'fan' for quite some time, I was disappointed with the last studio offering '11'. However, this little beauty has more than made up for it! Music as it should be, showing Bryan at his best. I've seen many 'top' bands/artists live and Bryan remains my number 1. His energy and enthusiasm along with a genuine desire to please the audience shows. His ability to sing live has kept an army of loyal fans, selling out shows rapidly is proof of his longevity! Even my hubby, a die hard 'non fan' has become very attached to 'I miss you...a little bit' and shocked me by declaring that he would like to see him live! This is a brilliant CD showcasing his musical ability as well as his sense of humour and I recommend it highly!

If you are a fan of Bryan Adams you shouldn't think twice about buying this cd for your collection. It has 20 songs played acoustic with just Bryan and his guitar or with the help of one of his band members playing the piano. It includes some of his greatest hits plus other songs he doesn't usually play live. Believe me, tis is a truly gift for al of his fans and I hpe the DVD is released soon.And, if you're not a fan of Bryan, but you like his music this is one of the best live albums you can listen to, so buy it because you won't regret the purchase.

I am a big Bryan Adams fan, have all his albums and have seen him live several times. I'm delighted with my purchase of the Bare Bones album and would recommend it whether you are a BA fan or not. On live tours Bryan always does an acoustic spot so it was great to have an entire album done in this way. So ok, the songs are on his other albums but the fact that this is acoustic makes it well worth buying. You won't be disappointed.
