## Description

2010 Christy Award winner! 2010 Inspirational Readers Choice Award winner! Paige Rogers is a former CIA agent who lost all she treasured seven years ago when her entire team was killed in a covert mission. She blames their leader―Daniel Keary―whom Paige believes betrayed them. Disillusioned and afraid for her life, she disappeared and started a new life as a small-town librarian. But when Keary announces his candidacy for governor of her state, he comes after Paige to ensure that she won't ruin his bid for office. He threatens everything she holds dear, and Paige must choose between the life of hiding that has become her refuge . . . Or risking everything in one last, desperate attempt to right old wrongs.

Review: Very Good Book!!!! - At the most fundamental level, a good book must tell an interesting story and have interesting characters. This book has well-developed characters that the reader will actually care about. The words created three-dimensional people with bright and colorful personalities. The story is fast-paced and builds intensity through the completion of the book. My only negative criticism would be the missing denouement after the climax of the story. A few pages of what happens after the excitement would have been appropriate. However, the thought crossed my mind that this is one book in a series, so maybe the author is purposely leaving the reader eagerly anticipating the next book. I thought the religious references were slightly overdone, but I also found the inclusion of such feelings refreshing in a thriller. 99.9% of all of the thrillers that I have read exclude religion from their storyline or the development of the character. This is unrealistic. How can the characters in all these other books face life/death chapter after chapter without uttering a single prayer? I will definitely look for more work by Ms. Mills.
Review: Quite good fiction! - I'm a bit disappointed at how many readers gave low reviews for this book on the basis of little more than their criticisms of unabashed and celebrated Christianity being a central theme. A thirty second perusal on the author's desertcart page reveals that she writes Christian fiction - if that is a deal breaker then one should not waste their money! Now. I AM a believer, but even if I was not I can say I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is written as well as any commercial fiction - interesting plot, likable characters, a few really good (though not entirely shocking) twists. The pacing is a little on the slow side but the interesting and believable backstory, which took a fair bit of time to develop, more than makes up for it. That being said, I do believe it was really elevated by the moral message and convictions of the characters - something that is missing in so much modern crime fiction. It was refreshing to see characters relying on more than their awesomeness to get them through struggles, and as a Christian I do fervently agree with the underlying message of the book. I wouldn't do it as a bible study, but for a few afternoons of solid reading "Breach of Trust" was well worth the time. Enjoyable, engaging, and with a better message than much of what is currently being written, I would highly recommend this book to any teen or young adult looking for suspense fiction that wasn't filled with trash.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another excellent Dianne Mills Book-Kindle Edition
*by R***; on May 11, 2010*

Breach Of Trust was a everything that I expected from Dianne Mills. As a Christian author I knew that it would be cleanly written and would have a great plot to it. Having read books by Dianne Mills before I knew that this one should be as good as the others. Paige Rogers, a librarian is not who most people in the small town in Oklahoma think she is. A former CIA Agent she has now assumed a new identity and left her past behind. Or has she. When she sees a stranger in town she starts doing some checking and finds out all she needs to know. A former agent who she knows has committed murders and betrayed her is now running for Governor and wants Paige on his committee. Somehow she needs to stop him from winning even at the risk of her own life. In the middle of some life changing decisions can she keep her faith and know that God is with her. As a Christian sometimes we have to do things that we know are wrong and should not do. This is how Paige feels at the moment. The characters are great. They all seem to blend together nicely. Nice blend of romance and suspense .If you are a Dianne Mills fan the n you won't want to miss this newest "Call of Duty" series
