Britten & James Spring and Summer Essential Blend for Wild Birds in a Stay Fresh Tub 5L (3.85kg)

This bird feed sounded promising, but since I've put this in the feeders (instead of just sunflower hearts) all types of finches (chaffinch, bullfinch, goldfinch, greenfinch) have stopped coming. It seems to be mostly the nuthatches enthusiastically throwing out every type of seed they don't like and eating the bits that they do. Tits and robins don't seem to mind it either, although it looks like the tits are still being selective in which seeds they pick out.

I purchased two plastic tubs of birdseed. They arrived in a flimsy cardboard carton, two corners obviouslyseriously damaged in transport. When I took the parcel in, I found I had left a trail of bird seed from front door to garden. As the floor was carpet I spent twenty minutes plus trying to vacuum it up.When l unpacked the carton l found one tub of seed securely bound in plastic with no damage The lid of second tub was still attached firmly to the rim of the tub. Unfortunately that part of the tub was not joined in any way to the rest of the tub. So l am now left with two pieces of sharp jagged plastic, a mess of cardboard, ( pretending its a carton) and a patio covered in bird seed. Not to pleased You have been warned.

We are building our garden bird population. Using this we have very queues fro the feeders…

Just fab. My birds love it

Birds cannot get enough of this. I'm amazed at how fast they go through it.
