I bought this kitchen for my granddaughter to play with when she comes over. She loves this kitchen and I love that she can play with for years to come as she grows. It is a beautiful play kitchen and vera well made. Be prepared to spend a good deal of time putting it together, but it will be well worth ot in the end. My only complaint is with the microwave. The door just will not stay shut know matter what. I ended up fixing this by cutting a command strip in half and using it which fit perfectly and works great the only downside with that being that you then have to push the door open button ready hard for it to open but it still will open or you can just use the handle and open it that way.

I did LOTS of research for the perfect kitchen for my kids. My daughter loves helping me make dinner and uses our microwave daily.This one was perfect because the stovetop lights up and makes boiling/cooking sounds. The microwave lights up inside when you push the "cook" button and dings just like a real microwave. And they LOVE the ice cube feature that dispenses "ice cubes".I read other reviews stating putting it together took quite some time and I'm not sure it was that difficult. I placed each numbered board in chronological order as the directions go chronologically. It made it pretty simple to put together.I did question if I put together the microwave the right way because all other doors "latch" so when you move the kitchen, no doors open...except the microwave. It doesn't latch or catch onto anything so the door doesn't stay shut in the instance of moving it.My kids don't seem to mind at all.The whole kitchen has lots of space for storage. It's really quite impressive!The only complaint I have is our ice cube dispenser sticks. So, when the kids push it in with a cup to dispense the ice cubes then place the ice cubes back into the door to re-dispense, the ice cubes just fall out. We have to manually pull the dispenser button back out after pushing it in to dispense the ice cubes. Not sure if ours is defective or this happens with all of these kitchens.Overall, we are super happy and the kids have played with it over and over.I'd suggest getting play food or accessories to go along with the kitchen.

I first bought a corner kitchen for my granddaughter, which my daughter nixed due to space. This one is more compact, but the burners light, it has an "ice" maker, and contemporary styling (styling more appreciated by the daughter than the 2-year-old). My little girl just loves it, so everybody's happy. A high-quality, fun unit that doesn't take up half a room.

This kitchen is really cute and fun. My two year old daughter plays with it all the time and loves the light up burners and “working” microwave. She also loves the ice maker, but as other reviewers have mentioned, the ice cubes do get stuck on their way out a lot of the time. She still likes it, though. I wish the ice maker buttons, as well as the buttons on the control panel of the microwave also made noise. Her normal play has not concerned me with it falling over, as it’s pretty sturdy. It does also come with a wall anchor. This kitchen definitely has a lot of parts to put together, but my husband said it was still relatively easy to assemble. It did take a couple of hours to put together, though.

Bought this for my 2 year old twin grandchildren's birthday. It was the only present they were interested in at their party. They are obsessed with it. They particularly love the beeping microwave. It is also good looking and realistic, just like Mom and Dads. It did take me about 3 hours to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and I particularly liked the 3D instructions which I highly recommend downloading. That way you can pivot the diagram around from different angles. My only criticism is that the screws were really hard to screw in, so my husband had to do a lot of them. I am pleased with the quality and it is sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. Took a little bit to build with two people but we eventually got it all done. This kitchen gets played with a lot by our children.Pros: very interactive. Has lights and sounds for the stove, microwave. The ice machine works. Wish there were buttons for the oven or dishwasher. We have added a lot of accessories to this kitchen over the years. We also added a puck light to ours.Cons: building instructions were confusing at times but seeing the joy afterwards was worth all the struggles.Light weight and easy to move if needed. Must need for pretend play for the little ones

I love this kitchen. My daughter has a smaller kitchen but she needed a upgrade and I love this one so much. The ice dispenser came damaged and I did email them but still no response.

Great looking kitchen set. Easy to assemble, except for when one of the screws broke into a piece. Ordered the piece on Kidkraft website and was sent a replacement quickly and free of charge. Love the lights and sounds. The doors have to be pushed in firmly to close, so that might be an issue for younger ones. But my 4 year old son is getting a hang of it. The ice dispenser is cool. The set fits most Melissa and Doug items, except the white plates don’t fit in the microwave. May have to get smaller plates. The kitchen set is a little smaller than the original but I love all the features. UPDATE: 3 years later, and this kitchen set is still holding strong. I now have a two year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She’s a bit more rough when playing compared to my son, but the set is super sturdy. The lights and sounds still work too! Very happy with my purchase.
