I am honestly impressed with this braid gel. The hold is AMAZING and keeps my hair sleek and laid all day long without constantly needing touch-ups. A little goes a long way, and it gives a smooth polished look without feeling sticky or heavy. One of my favorite things is that it dries clear — no flaky white residue, no buildup, and no greasy look. My braids and edges stay neat while still looking natural and shiny. It also works beautifully for protective styles without making my hair feel dry. What really sold me is that it performs just as good as the expensive name brands for a much lower price. You get long-lasting hold, shine, moisture, and clean results without overspending. Definitely a new staple in my hair routine and I will absolutely keep repurchasing!

This is such a great braiding gel! I use it every time my friend braids my hair, and it stays for a long time. The smell is amazing and it does not cause greasiness either. It’s easy to apply and it comes in a good size too.

When I opened the jar I thought — meh this is just a glorified light hold edge control rebranded as braiding gel. Welp, it definitely lives up to the hype. What’s interesting about it is that it FEELS like it won’t do much of anything, because the product is almost soft feeling. but let me tell youuuu— this thing helped create the neatest parts and most put together twist style I have ever done. It’s been about 6 days since I installed the style and my little one’s hair still looks like it was just done today. A tiny bit goes a faaaar way so this one jar will probably last possibly 6 months if I re-do these twists every 4 weeks as planned. It can also be used on edges! I was amazed when I used a tiny dab on her edges one morning and after a full day at school her edges were still neat, no flaking, and it’s not a hard hold. For reference I’m using this on 4C medium-thick hair.

Its thick and sticky but work it through wet hair. Place your braids in and when the hair finally drys you can take out the braids and the hair is wavy and will hold that wave all day. I love using this for my daughter's hair.

This is my favorite gel to use when retwisting my locs. Does not leave a white cast, very effective, smells really good, has a thick consistency.
