Trash Bags 39 Gallon Lawn & Leaf Garbage Bags Drawstring Black 40 Count - Bilt-Tuf

These are very durable, 39 gallon draw string bags that are thicker than most other brands. This makes them more durable, and less likely to leak. The price here on Amazon is lower than the price in most places locally for similar products. I prefer the solid color bags which are only slightly more expensive than the clear bags.

I tried to save some money and use these for Trash. Not commercial just everyday kitchen trash. As with others, I had many draw strings snap. As far as the bag goes, I never had a hole punch through due to the bag not holding up. Sure, nails, twigs and anything else sharp or pointed will punch through but these are not "Commercial 3.0mil Bags" I have not purchased these again but they do hold up fairly well other than the draw strap. I would buy again but know their limitations.

I bought two boxes of these bags based on the reviewer comments on the Amazon.com website. Boy, was I disappointed. The draw-string on the first bag that I used separated and caused me to have to secure the bag with an electrical zip-tie, which fortunately I have in abundance. Once filled, I had to take the less than fully-filled bags to the end of the driveway for pick-up by the recyclers. During transport, about half of the fourteen bags tore open and I had to use tape to keep the contents from spilling out of the faulty bags. Overall, I would say this product is inferior and a waste of money! It should be renamed "Bilt-Flimsy."

These are just good enough to order/reorder because it fits a large outdoor garbage can (e.g. Rubber Maid) if you carefully stretch the drawstring top over it. I am huge fan of drawstring so I can accept the compromise that these bags just hold up enough to be middle of the road worth it. I have reordered and will reorder until something better comes along.

When I first ordered this item, I wasnt really expecting much, seeing as I have bought off-brands before and have been very disappointed... But I am really happy with these trash bags! They seem to hold up well to household garbage, even though they are lawn and leaf bags. I am happy with these and will be purchasing many more in the future.

I was buying my trash bags from Sam's Club their Members Mark brand lawn and leaf bags, but they made them embossed and they tear too easily and I like the old way that they had them until I stumbled across these. I was so happy and so grateful, I hope they never go out of business because this is where I'm buying my trash bags and lawn and leaf bags is from this brand and Company from now on, they are awesome, very pleased. (There is just one thing, their box it's not as dirty as I had hoped it is flimsy.)

These are nice sturdy lawn and leaf bags for use by someone who uses a lot of bags. We carry our son's garbage to the dump with ours and he always has a lot. We gave them to him to use and he hasn't broken one yet.
