She's going to order these too!!! Foolproof! I have super skinny calves. I gave chicken legs so they felt just right. I don't know if wide calves will fit in these bc my another friend tried mine on she could not zip it close. She has wide bulky calves. I feel bad for her. I'm a strong size 7 and have 16.50 circumference calves. Wide calves but not wide feet, nor are they narrow; I have average feet and ordered the 7.5 WC (wide calf) in Taupe.This photo does this boot NO JUSTICE!! It looks and feels a lot more expensive than it is. I was pleasantly surprised & the exterior texture is not the faux leather look it appears to be. It's actually soft to the touch almost velvety but it's not and hard to explain. My first reaction was, "woah," followed by me feeling up the boot ever so gently as if it was fragile lol.Now for the fit...I always have a hard time finding boots and was prepared to squeeze my calves in as soon as the zipper was approaching the top. To my surprise, I had no issues whatsoever and they went right up with NO struggle. Whoever thought to design a v-shape opening in the back of the boot is a pure genius! I believe this is why the boots fit without a problem.Oh, almost forgot!!! In the pic, the bottoms appear to be the slippery wood finish but NOOOO it's not!!! It's a rubber material ladies so no slipping!!!! The heel is like any other but the rest is rubber so yaaay!!! Don't be hesitant! When the size 7 was too small, I was disappointed. But I exchanged them and got the 7.5. Wore them for 5 minutes before walking out the door for work and I said "no way!" They felt almost as tight as the size 7... so disappointed. I really love the look of these. I'm ordering an 8.5 next. Done screwing around... if these are too tight, I'm done and my 4 stars will go to 1.Update.. made it through the day.. barely. My feet hurt so bad. I have already started the process to return them. I started to hurt in the car on the way to work and I've now been here for 30 mins and the pain is now up into my knees( kind of weird lol).. I'm praying they stretch. It's the only reason I left the house with them on. Will update if they stretch any.
