I like the simplicity and durability of them, however, the elastic metal band on my last one failed where it attaches to the watch case in such a way that it had two pointy metal peaks that made it unwearable. I was going to simply replace the band, but it was cheaper to buy a new watch. I looked for something equivalent to what I had but styles have changed and I couldn't find something appealing that matched my pricepoint. Until I found this Casio watch. I debated over the newer plastic-silicone bands, but worried about durability. I am an electrician, and get into some rough environments at work, dirt, dust, construction debris and such. Getting sweaty and dirty wearing a watch can make them smell bad over time(like the stretchy metal band on my old Timex). This Casio has a nice metal band, it seems very durable as well as being easy to close and comfortable to wear. The face and body of the watch is low profile enough to not get in the way at work or wearing work gloves. It is attractive enough to wear as an everyday watch too. The reviews I read prior to purchase were pretty much accurate, the manual is a bit daunting, but it is in several languages so it only requires reading part of it. I had a bit of a challenge getting it set, but eventually I got it right. The light feature flat out is not as good as the Indiglo feature of the Timex watches, but I don't rely on that as much as I thought I would. The glow in the dark feature this watch has is also rather weak, it does work, but has no duration. The telememo feature it has is something I didn't realize it has, but I can't see how it will benefit me. I simply needed a watch that is accurate, easy to read, easy to wear, comfortable, and durable. This watch checks those boxes for me. Overall, this is a budget friendly watch that is well made and easy to wear. For me, the style and durability made it the right choice. Review: Great watch - LOOKS EVEN BETTER THAN THE PICTURE! - All of this for ONLY $20 each?! WOW! I received both watches today - I bought both the AW80V-5BV (Brown with velcro wrist band) and the AW80V-7AV (White dial with black rubber? wrist band). When unpacking them I was not surprised to see the watches looking pretty much like they showed on desertcart.com pictures. When I put each one of them on I was very pleasantly surprised at how much better they even looked when I put them on! Who knows, I have beautiful wrists?!... Seriously, I am very happy with the looks and would've thought they cost more if I've seen someone else wear them. Talking about pricing this watch is a steal! I say again "all this for only $20?!" That's unbelievable! I am going back to check for other colors! I may be wearing a different watch every day just to match the color of my shirts! Oh, the analog dial of both models is sooo easy to read! The digital display?... I can read it easily from many feets away! The light is pretty bright! Who says it is not? I don't see myself using it often though... Who wants a light on their watch? Certainly not me! If I am in the dark, the last thing I want to know about is the time - there are more interesting things to do in the dark :) - unless, of course, I was some kind of a special forces commando, or was in some kind of trouble, etc.. SETUP - It was very easy, simple and logical! (Of course, I'm a genious too, besides having beautiful wrists). Seriously, after I adjusted the first one - it took only a few short minutes - by following the simple instructions in the manual, I did the second one without going to the instructions and, believe me, I am the type that would always prefer to have things done and ready, zero-setup type and it was NOT a pain, even for me. Well, that's it! I recommend it. SUMMARY: Excellent timekeeping device with expensive features, great looking watch - looks more expensive than it is!

very decent for the price, with the features I needed
For the price, it's a very decent watch. I wanted analog hands for the main time display, and an ability to see day of week and a second time zone. This watch has those things. It's decently designed, and the bracelet is quite comfortable once you adjust it. The LCD display has good visibility. Cons: the side buttons are too easy to push, and the second time zone easily switches to another city if you're not careful. Then you have to cycle through time zones around the globe to get back to the one you need. Also, the crystal is made of pretty soft plastic and scratches very easily.

Great value!
Always loved Casio watches - great value. This one is no exception. I like having both the analog & digital time, so the watch works in casual and formal settings, and the nylon band is very comfortable, a welcome switch from resin. It isn't a very heavy watch to wear either, and it is unobtrusive, so it shouldn't pose much of a problem for shirt or coat sleeves.

Looks and feels quality for the price.
Looks good. Quality feel to the watch case and buttons. I do believe the makeup is glass and aluminum and should be able to take a beating with daily usage while remaining in one piece. There are no gaps in the construction and should be moderately water resistant. The strap is not of the best quality feeling and seems very thin and cheap nylon with thin and cheap pleather but the strap should last you a least 1-2 years of daily usage. The controls are that of most digital watches but the main problem of the watch is setting the time. The digital section is independent of the analog section and thusly you must set each time but in doing so it is difficult in getting both sections accurate. The second display can only be reset to 0 not to a specified time therefor my watch is currently 10 seconds behind what my phone displays. Watch face kinda small but not overly big like my smart watch. The illumination is not that bright and is quick to turn off. I would've liked for the light to reflect off the face not from the sides.
