I followed the tip that says to work in small increments in more than one session, but I only had to apply more than one "stretch" to my sneakers. The bunion plugs have worked beautifully, and I am now stretching all the less than comfortable shoes I have had to endure, each one a day at a time. In addition, I used the instep height stretch on one pair of shoes which were rubbing a toe, and got the same great results. For the record, I did not use stretching spray so cannot comment on its use. All in all, this is a quality product which has been life-changing for me and for my feet.
