I guess I ordered the product for dogs this time. I usually get the cat ones. Either way, my cats & dog loves this treat & I feel good about it since all I am giving them is a dried fish. They go crazy for it.The only downside is that towards the bottom of the bag it dust, which I then use as a topper treat over their food.

These freeze-dried nuggets of fishie-ness must be like the BEST DESSERT OR SNACK EVER!!! (to a Cat, anyway.!! Her fav flavor is Salmon by-the-way..)They smell like the local fish market to me, tho. But for how happy they make my cat, they’re well worth it! They’re a little pricey for a cat snack but we’ll worth it! You can break one up or, give them a whole square - they’ll devour it!**after spending time and money on every kind, flavor, soft & hard kibble it’s great to finally find the one she will love to eat & im happy to buy them!***

My cat loves fish so I decided to try this. My cat likes them but the pieces are to big for him so I break it up for him and he gobbles them right up. Some cats prefer chicken or beef my cat tends to love fish so it just depends on what yoir cats preference is on whether this is the right cat treat for your cat. Peyton loves them when I break them up and dip them in water. There was a smell but nothing that turned my cat away. I've noticed most cat treats smell. I think this would be good for cats who like fish and eats large chunks if not youll have to break them up and that may not sound to appealing. And even then they may nkt eat them. Kind of expensive if your cat dislikes them seems more for a dog than cat.

Of all the freeze-dried treats that I've bought, this is the brand that my cats like best. The salmon treats have a pleasant but stronger aroma than other brands, which is a good sign that it's 100% salmon, no fillers or additives. When I shake the jar, they come running! It may cost a little more, but it’s worth it.*TIP: My veterinarian prescribed a fish-flavored liquid medication for my cat's thyroid* issue. These treats are absorbent like a sponge, so I pierce them with a fork and put a few drops of the liquid med on them, and my usually fussy cat gobbles it up.*P.S. It's important to be aware that thyroid problems are very common in older cats; and if left untreated, it can cause heart damage and weight loss despite an increased appetite. So that's why I'm passing along this tip for a really EASY stress-free way to give them meds. It's so much easier than trying to pop a pill down their throats, and they run TO you instead of AWAY from you. The good news is: It avoids stress for both you and your cat.

My cat purrs the whole time she is eating the Halo freeze-dried salmon treat. She is also quite talkative when she knows it's treat time. Not sure if she should be eating this occasional treat with kidney disease but I give it out sparingly so she continues to enjoy food. I'll discuss with my vet at cat's appointment this month.

My cat goes NUTS for these treats! She's never been very food motivated but I bought these on a whim to give her a good protein packed treat and now she expects them every day! She'll sit by the food bowl and yell at me if i don't add these to her kibble. Her coat is even softer and shinier than before and she seems to have even more energy. I highly recommend these treats as a healthy alternative to grocery store brands! They do smell like fish but... they're freeze dried fish, of course they do.

I wish that I could give this 0 stars. I chose this review because the product that you sent to me was expired. They were pet treats. The expired date was right on all of the packages. I paid a lot of money for these, plus I think that I paid even more to expedite the shipping. I am disabled and home bound. My spine is broken in seven places. It is difficult for me to get things to the post office, so I won't be able to return them. I will just have to throw them away and eat the cost, which really hurts, since I am living off of Disability, and I give up things for myself to be able to afford these treats for my cat. I have spent many thousands of dollars at Amazon.com, and at AmazonFresh.com. If you will review my account, you will see what a regular customer I have been. It was hard for me to believe that you would sell something to a consumer when the product had expired, and the expired date was stamped clearly on the package. I have never had that problem with you before. They have always been fresh. Could you instruct your packers to check the expiration dates for expired products before packing something to send to the consumer who bought it? It doesn't matter if it was one dollar, or a hundred dollars, it is the principle that matters, and a waste of what precious little money I have to spend. I believe that, at the very least, I should get store credit for it. I would like to continue to shop at Amazon. I plan on placing a large order today with you because I believe that you will make it right about my last shipment. If you do, I will continue to shop at both places for many years to come.
