L'Oreal Paris Couleur Experte Color + Highlights in a Flash, Medium Iridescent Blonde - Ice

I feel compelled to write a review of this product after having read some very negative ones on this site. I have been using these highlighting kits--8.0 and 8.2--throughout the pandemic when hair salons shut down in NYC. Now that the pandemic is ending, I continue to purchase this product from Amazon for a very small cost, and my hair is exactly the color that I would like it to be. I think that 8.2 is a better choice for me, super natural color--not brassy blonde. I had never colored/highlighted my hair prior to the pandemic. If you can make a batch of brownies, you can successfully use this kit--it is very reliable and consistent. No appointments, no big cash layout, and easy color whenever I wish. And, when a little gray starts to show, I used L'Oreal Magic Root Rescue 8.0, and I'm good to go. When I got a haircut, the stylist asked me where I had my highlights done--at home. She said that whatever I was doing, to not stop because the color was so failproof, and was hair was in good condition, too. The conditioner that comes with the kit is terrific; I use the L'Oreal shampoos for blonde hair, too, to keep the color fresh. Now, I can take a trip with all of the $$$$ I save on visits to the salon. So many thanks for a great product!!!

This stuff works great and the toner takes out all the brassiness!!! I love my hair color!!!!

Easy to apply. Grey hair coverage is fair. Could see grey easily after first hair wash.

This is my go to for covering my grey but adding dimension. Love this kit!

I love this Brand totally worth it.If your blonde it works best. I can only speak from experience. At least with this color❤️

I like the product but they fail to include enough highlighting solution! Last time I had to purchase an extra box to get enough highlights 😕2 boxes for one time is tok much money. They shoukd include more highlight solution—too stingy so you either don’t have enough or pay more. Next time will go with a different brand.

Convenient, price is good, nice variety, clean packaging

This was an unusual product. I wasn’t aware you color first and high Light afterwards. So…. It’s a process. You have to completely dry your hair after you do the color. I just threw the bottle on my hair because it was about 3 months last time I had a professional job. I had to take two showers. It’s some work. Unless you want to do the high lights another day. Might be easier. The color does give a bit of brass. So, I would for sure have a very good purple tone shampoo product. They give you a toner conditioner but I prefer a very good toner product such as Redkin. It did pretty good all and all. I would call this a hold over until I can get a professional job. I would buy this product again if I get into this bind again.

The base color is pretty dark. I would not use this kit again to get light blonde highlights like it shows on the box.

Bit expensive only place you can get them is on buy and amazon they are fantastic

This stuff dyed my dark blond hair orange. Worst hair dye I have ever used. Incredibly expensive too.
