Bring A Hammer, Rivet Your Wardrobe
Includes a few different types and sizes of snaps, along with an anvil and all the punches necessary for installation; bring your own hammer, and maybe an awl or pencil to poke starter holes, and then rivet your clothes to your hearts content, so long as you use each implement for it's corresponding parts in the kit.I used my kit to give some extra flair and utility to an old boonie hat, and to make an adjustable harness out of a roll of webbing.

Frustrating but decent...8 tips that may help:
These can be a challenge but the quality is decent & they're great for the intended application - leather & thick fabric. These are NOT your standard pronged snaps on your western shirt. Here's some info that may alleviate frustration:1. No human can see the printed instructions. Refer back to the listing & mouse over the instructions/images so they're legible.2. Take the time & sort out each 4 groups of pieces (look closely at design details & it'll make sense). Refer to the picture (second from the top) in the listing to group each numbered set.3. Remember when installing: POST + STUD and CAP + SOCKET4. Posts are the pieces with the skinnier pokey-outies.* They go into the studs which are the wider pokey-outies.**(The exception is #201 - these *posts are more like a tube & these **studs are more like a donut (again, refer to the photos on the listing.)5. Caps are the pieces that will be the face of your snap & they go into the sockets (donut-shaped pieces).6. It's helpful to mark your material (I use #s & chalk) to keep track of which part goes where & avoid mixing up front/back & right side/wrong side.7. Try putting a post with stud and cap with socket (sans material) and snap them together so you have a visual.8. You probably already do this, but test a swatch before you stab holes into your project.I bought these to put a snap on the bib pocket flap of a pair of overalls. Unfortunately the fabric was a thin stretch denim so these didn't work. In fact, I never found any that did & resorted to a sew-on snap. These do work well on other projects with thicker fabric, tho, like bags & cases. Good luck!

used product
product was used. they just sealed it back up and sent it out as new. the tools had obviously been used and the snap count was not accurate. i just needed one male snap to fix a favorite jacket and it worked just fine. probably the same thing the person that sent them back did.

Almost got it
I had no problems setting the "button" side of these. The post and snap part were another story.Dumped all the parts out and resorted, so it was easier to see size differences. But I found the #633 set tool had too small an opening for the 12.5mm set of posts etc. The stud part kept getting stuck inside the 633 tool. And they just tore apart trying to get them out. THe post deformed, it was a mess. After killing about 8 post/studs trying different things, I went with the 831 set tool, and I had some old tools from other brands. I think they worked after that. We'll see if they stay in, or if I'll be using a 15 mm snap/popper set....

Good Quality - Guide to Intalling/Tools
I have been doing leather work for a while. As such, I found these snaps to be good quality and a good price. I really only use bronze/antique brass on my leather work and was tired of buying multi-color snap sets with snaps in colors I will never use. THAT SAID, a little instruction/guide to the tools included with the snaps would be really helpful (and help overall ratings).Step One: go to the internet and search for a video or two that shows you how to set segma snaps and Line 24 snaps. Then use the correct tool as discussed below.Step Two: There is a photo that shows tool sizes, but here it is again. Remember that each tool set (one took for the cap part and one tool for the base of the snap) is marked with a number. That set of tools can only be used for one snap size.Tool no. - Snap size833 - 15mm snaps633 - 12.5mm snaps655 - 10mm snaps201 - 15mm snaps (Line 24 style)A little practice makes perfect. These are good snaps and a real value if you know how to use them.

Lots of damaged and unfinished snaps and couplers
There were a lot of the fasteners that were either damaged or were unfinished fasteners meaning holes were not drilled all the way through so, you most likely will only be able to use about half of what is in the package. Chinese will always make it cheaper, but never better, sometimes you need to just pay the extra money to get better quality.
