Skirts of this type are widely available, with an elasticated waist, good flare, and generous length. This one has a wide elasticated webbing waistband, so you will need a long-line top to hide it, it's not that attractive. I am size 16 and found it fairly snug, but not tight.The fabric isn't thick, or heavy, you perhaps won't want to wear it for an evening out, but you could get away with it, if you have a long-line slip, probably costing twice the price of the skirt.Fine for casual wear. I got the charcoal grey, which is a decent mid to dark grey. It's not a very dark grey.Edit: I have since bought the purple as well, which is a mid purple shade, a true purple rather than aubergine or burgundy. This shade used to be described as “Imperial purple.”The skirt was the same quality as the grace good, perhaps slightly shorter than the grey. I wouldn’t wear it outside the home, but it’s fine for casual wear in the house.

When I first saw it I didn't think it would fit but it fit's like a glove and is so comfortable to wear well worth the money

For the money, it was perfect for what I needed. However I had to buy 2 sizes larger. I'm 5'6" about 133 lbs and needed to buy a 20/22 XXL!!!! So buy big! The size smaller was too tight around the waist and hips.

Was advised delivery would be on a specific date, which was the date i needed it, but it was never delivered. Received a message the following day saying it would be delivered between another three dates. When item arrived, it was of a poor quality, it was very thin material and you could see it. The sizing was too small.Wasn't expecting top quality due to the price paid, but it was poor.

Just what I wanted in terms of colour, fit and comfort but it is rather see through. It was v cheap so that could be expected but I'd rather have spent more and have decent thickness as it was intended for work. I couldn't find any other items that seemed to be what I wanted. I'm going to try it with shorts under to see if I can get away with it.

Loved the style and the price. I have bought two now. Practical skirt well made in the UK hoorah! Like to support our British products whenever possible.

Should have guessed from the price, but item is very 'cheap' looking and feeling. Am a size 16, sometimes 14, and ordered a few sizes up from that to have a looser skirt. It is so tight! I reckon it would fit a 10-12. It is also pretty see through. It's going straight in the charity pile
