The first thing to mention is the size which is quite small. The cards @ 4x5 are only slightly larger than a 3x5 index card. I love the embossing, but you would have trouble writing on the back of the embossed area - so your writing space is really just one area of the inside of the 4x5" card . The pattern and the colors of the quilting are really varied ; and I can look at it for a long time trying to spot some repetition. The envelopes have some color also. The back flap (I think) is where the quilting reappears. I like the "quilting" theme as a particularily nice springboard for sentimental messages. These high quality cards have been a pleasure to use. I cannot remember the price, which indicates good value in my way of thinking. Had I felt that I spent too much the cost would have been the first caveat. You lick or moisten the back flap to seal the envelope. For US mail a regular first class stamp. The dimensions are acceptable for international mail which would of course require additional postage. As of today (Aug 2026), the international rate is about 3x the regular first class letter rate.

Beautiful little cards that will make an impressive statement to your addressee. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

These aren't just for Valentine's Day. I use them for other types of notes and friends comment on how beautiful they are. Very lightweight, colorful and different from most cards because of the scalloped edges.

the cards are very beautiful, but unfortunately the box containing the cards arrived damaged which is annoying because it is supposed to be a gift. A little more care for the transport would have been helpful...
