These were good quality! I was very pleased with this purchase. The 4yr old recipient LOVED these. (she wore one for Halloween) The fact that there was a variety of costumes meant her Brother could dress-up as well.

We purchased this set for my son for his second birthday (although the recommended age is 3-7) and he absolutely LOVES it! He's a huge fan of Dino Dana and now he has everything he needs to be a "dinosaur explorer" and perform dinosaur experiments! His favorite parts are the binoculars and whistle which also have a built in compass and work impressively well considering they're a kids toy! The flashlight is also fully functional and the magnifying glass is great for observing bugs! The vest and hat are very well made and there's even a carrying case to store of all of your items. This is an awesome gift for any boy or girl who loves exploring, dinosaurs, bugs or really anything outdoors! There's an endless amount of possibilities with this explorer's kit when your little one uses their imagination. Extremely pleased and would definitely recommend!!

For 'dress up and what you want to be when your older' day at school, my daughter decided she wanted to be an Archaeologist. I saw this on Amazon and read the comments thinking will this fit my 9 YO, it was worth the risk -she is a small 9 but it fitted her perfectly, the hat was a tad small but it will still do for this day at school and all the accessories inside worked perfectly. So happy with the purchase and especially my daughter - great costume.

I bought this set for my granddaughter for her 5th birthday. She is really into "role-playing", as she says, and this rounded out a a group of girlie costumes we gave her as a "collection". It is so fun to see her hunting bugs in the backyard in the explorer set or gardening in the gardener's apron. She might dress up as a researcher or doctor and try out her latest remedies on us. They fit her great.

Birthday present for 5 year old. She loved all the costumes. Wore one of the princess costumes almost all day on her birthday. Loves to pretend she is the cop, firefighter, princess, etc. She is on the smaller size for a five year old. Clothes fit fine and expect they will for quite awhile. She loved all the jewelry and other accessories.
