Product arrived in okay condition, and i placed it into my console and the disk simply wouldn't read.. poor product, would not reccomend

Ordered FIFA 06 and it should come on monday, i have played the demo and it looks great much better than FIFA 05 which i found poor.However i have read that the transfers will only be updated to August 24th will real madrid have robinho and baptista? when were they bought? this means that real madrid will have mostly the same team as last year if these two aren't in it and Sergio Ramos definately won't be. This worries me.

If, like me you have played Fifa 2003, you will realise what a stepup this game is - or rather a letdown. The commentry and presentation are fantastic, a cut above the rest, but that does not make the game worthwhile unless the game itself is actually playable.The game itself is sluggish and the controls unresponsive as you haphazardly kick a pass the direction you DIDNT want it to go. Players seem to have no idea what the hell they are doing, and momentarily freeze in bewilderment.Referee's are ridiculous for pulling out the ubiquitous cards, as they pull them out once too often for harmless, probably allowable tactics, but seem to dismiss the more dirty tactics.Dont get me started on the FIFA License, but since you did, I'll tell you. Why on earth do EA feel the need to churn out yet another dismal game little after we just bought our last one, considering it is largely the same excepted a revamped cover and a menu title difference, but underneath the the image, the faults, the graphics are masked in yet another rebadge to cream more money out of the average fan. What a stupid EA, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

The demo is very good with a few little bugs that EA are aware of and will work on before its release on 30th Sept. Why do Pro Evo Fanboy's post on here and rubbish FIFA when im sure they havent even played it? infact they are hypocrites this year as I think this years PES is very bad! Same crap as last year, more annoying fouls for stupid tackles like little nudges and foot ins!! Did someone forget to tell Konami that Football is a contact sport?? Anyway back to FIFA, the graphics are similar to 05 which in a way isnt a bad thing, the player animations in my opinion are better than last year, Shooting system is far improved and you can score some very worthwhile goals this year. Team Chemistry makes a difference too in the gameplay.Overall I think its the best FIFA ive played for sometime. Cant wait for Friday.

I hope EA read these reviews as they can make improvements on a very, very disappointing game. I was a fan of the classic Fifa on both Megadrive and PS1 and this was my first game when I was given a PS2 as a present. However, I now barely play it for the following reasons:- It is just far too hard- It is impossible to score apart from headers from corners. The only was to score otherwise is to play a through ball, but only 10% of shots go in.- It is impossible to dribble round opposition. They can tackle you by merely walking into you. Conversely, it is hard to tackle them - they walk round you at will and yet every third slide tackle is greeted with a red card!- If you are learning a game for the first time the best way is to play, say, as Brazil versus Leyton Orient... however on Fifa '06 all lower teams are disproportionately tough.- It is hard to keep the ball on if you are near the touchline.- Every one of the opposition, from the fattest defender to the most lumbering forward can outstrip the fastest of your forwards for pace.- It's borderline impossible to control the ball after doing a skill trick.There are tons of other faults as well and after years of barracking my mates, saying Fifa is better than Pro Evo, I've had to swallow my words. The only reason I give this two out of five is the fact that most (but not all) the faults are inconsequential if you play two player, as your mate will be as rubbish as you are at it!

i think this game is sure to be big seller. I sounds good and im sure it will be, fifa o5 was a bit of a let down but i think this one has to beat it. Im still playing fifa 04 and hope this game can get me out of one of the best football games out, to a new better game...FIFA is SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER!
