Increased performance
I was looking for an upgrade to an HD 5770 card that was still performing rather well, but wanted a little extra boost. I was not disappointed. My game framerates increased, and my overall computer performance increased as well. The price was a little prohibitive for my budget, but then again, I was looking at cards that ran hundreds of dollars more, so I have no room to complain. Also worth noting is, this card was not on the list of Tom's Hardware of best video cards for the money. While I started there when researching my next upgrade, I had to find a "mid-point" between the lowest rung and the next rung up. I took my chances and went with this one. OH, and the "extra" gb of memory was also another selling point for me.Upsides: Cool, quiet, and comes with software to easily change the card's settings. Decent performance for those high-end games. Easy installation.Downsides: A little pricey, and the size of the card can be prohibitive for smaller cases.I bought this card on impulse, and if I were you, I would save my money and look for a card that has a bit more performance for the buck.

Easily a 5 star item. but...
Easily a 5 star item when working well. No doubt in my mind. But I ran into some issues in the beginning (This may be because I am new with computers). My monitor first didn't support this card, but I found some stuff to fix it after a long time. On the bright side this item would have been 2-3 stars if it weren't for its performance. The performance of this thing is incredible for the cost (scores a 7.5 out of 7.9 on the Windows Experience Index), it ran all my games on full settings (DOTA 2, PAYDAY 2 (had some issues), Counter Strike, Portal, Civilization, Warface) to name the big ones. There was no lag and the card kept cool.In conclusion if you want amazing performance for the price of maybe having to kink through some glitches, this is right for you. If you want a cheap but completely, utterly, plug and play then this card isn't for you. Note: There are really helpful websites out there to help if you have glitches. I will post them below. For a smaller screen than monitor : http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/362552-33-updated-graphics-card-screen-smallerFor some games not working (PAYDAY): http://steamcommunity.com/app/218620/discussions/8/540743213118039083/

Worth it.
I've heard a lot of people having issues with Asus Customer Service when there is a problem, so I am always cautious about dealing with these type of companies. I haven't had any issues with my Asus monitors nor this CCA, so I can't speak from experience. Asus may have bad customer service, but they also have great price to performance and good reliability (so far in my experience.)PROS:-Price to performance -2GB GDDR5 -reliability -no issues w/ gaming nor CAD software used so far (I am not a heavy gamer, but do enjoy playing.) -> no major drop in frame rates or "shutters" -PCIe 2.0 compatibleCONS: -128bit interface; at this price you can't complain though (yes, you can :) ) -idles at about 40 deg C, heats up to 55C under load (stock cooling)All and all, I have to say a great card. Despite Asus' poor customer service reputation, I am very impressed and find my self leaning more towards their products. I'd recommend the card if your looking for performance on a budget.

Very Capable Card for the Money!
I was a little worried that the card wouldn't be able to make use of the 2GB of VRAM before the GPU ran out of processing power. My main game is still Skyrim which can easily top 1GB @ 1080p. I overclocked it a little with the ASUS GPU Tweak (1100 for the GPU, 5000 for the memory) let the game detect the card and it recommended "Ultra" settings, which surprised me (thought it would be "High"). I play @ 1920x1200. Took my character to the heavily forested area around Riften (lots of dappled light reflections on fall type foliage). Pretty demanding area of the game. The HD 7770 2GB was getting between 45-60 FPS, usually staying around 50-55 FPS. I was very pleased with that performance. When I checked the memory usage of the card after about a half hour it was at 1,900 MB! Not only can it keep a very good FPS it can definitely make use of the 2GB of VRAM (at least in Skyrim). Not only that, the build quality is excellent and the dual fan DirectCU cooler kept it below 66C. Excellent card - highly recommended for a budget gaming setup.ASUS HD 7770 2GBPhenom II X4 980 BE250GB SATA III SSD8GB DDR3 1333 RAMWin 71920x1200 monitor

Way more power than I need
This card has way more power than I will honestly need. I am not a huge gamer, mostly just minecraft. This card does an amazing job of running the games as well as other HD media tasks. One side note about it, It says it can support 3 monitors. This is true but not as intuitive as you would think. I have 2 monitors on DVI, I wanted to connect my TV to HDMI. This did not work. I found out that in order to use 3 monitors, you must have one of them on the DIsplayPort and the other two on a combination of the remaining ports. Since I don't have any diplays that use the DisplayPort option, I read further and found that only active adapters will work to convert from DisplayPort to something else. Since my Tv also has VGA input I bought a DisplayPort to VGA active adapter. As soon as a plugged it in, the card recognized all three displays and worked flawlessly. Just arrange them as to the order you want the mouse to move and you are ready. The card is powerful and fast enough that when I check the windows experience score, my system "bottleneck" is my Intel 330 Solid State Drive. Very happy with this card and couldn't beat the price.

Good but!
Very satisfied with the product. While not the latest generation of cards it does preform very well at high resolution settings.Only complaint, didn't come with the required additional power connector, that I had to purchase separately. Otherwise good value for the money.

Very satisfied.
Has outmatched my expectations. Be sure to use MSI Afterburner (or something similar) to set up a fan profile, though.

Great card
Bought it for a friend and got it at an awesome price. I did normal shipping and got it the next day! However look for newer cards as you can probably get a better deal on something and get more performance.
