I finally got around to using this tonight (lost my sewjo for a little while, and only just got a project up to buttonhole stage!)Cutting through double layer of silk with 1 lightweight interfacing layer.First 2 were beautiful, cut through like butter. 3rd started to get a bit patchy, needing considerable force for the 4th, then by the 5th, nothing. Had to resort to stitch cutter again. Blargh.Used on a variety of surfaces - a resin block, wooden block, cutting mat.Unfortunately the return window had closed, so I wasted money on a sub par product but hopefully this review will help someone else thinking about buying this because it's cheap. . It's not saving money if it doesn't work!

Nikel, rien à dire. Fait son travail comme il se doit, assez solide! et de facture raisonnable.

malheureusement, de retour au ciseau à broder pour ouvrir mes boutonnières car ce couteau ne traverse pas les faibles épaisseurs (sur laine moyenne marche bien mais sur mes chemises en coton je dois mis reprendre à 3 fois!)Dommage, j'y ai cru!
