The autumn leaves were beautiful this year so I decided to preserve some using the Mod Podge technique. You can choose matte or gloss and both deliver, with easy use and clean up. Very basic, yet high quality materials. I used a sponge brush and it worked very well. There is plenty of product to last for numerous projects

This twin pack was the most cost effective for buying both the gloss and matte Mod Podge. I wanted the matte to coat a vinyl self-stick contact/wall paper in a wood plank pattern. I had cut the paper into individual planks/strips and painted some of them with craft paints to disguise the manufactured pattern and make them look more realistic. The "self-stick" was a joke with that heavy vinyl paper, and I ended up using a heavy duty vinyl wallpaper paste to make the strips stay on the wall. I had to apply the paste thickly, and it oozed out to the surface when smoothing the vinyl strips onto the wall. When it dried, you could easily see every spot of wallpaper paste against the slight sheen of the vinyl paper (I didn't like that sheen in the first place...looked fakey). So now I had these "wood planks" on the wall with a mixed finish of the original sheen of the vinyl wallpaper, the matte sheen of the craft paint I'd used, and obvious smudges of dried wallpaper paste that gave off a "luster" somewhere in between. When the project was done and dried, I used a regular 3" paint brush to apply a coat of the matte Mod Podge over the entire project. It flattened the sheen of the wallpaper so that the craft paint, the wallpaper, and the smudges of paste all evened out to the same, beautiful matte finish. One coat of matte Mod Podge was an effective, EASY solution, and the end result was what I'd envisioned at the start.

I used this product to glue pages of a book together for a project. I used the "matte" finish. It went on smoothly, one coat held the pages and you can't tell they've been glued. Exactly what I needed.

I was worried this would mess up my design and color would run, I tested the mod podge on this paper cut item and it dried well and fast, It has a good gloss over it as well. I definitely would recommend this product for preserving your paper projects. It is even said that you can spray acrylic mod podge over this to make it water proof. This did not damage my mandala at all! It is just one layer of mod podge.

Nice to have two finishes and applicators if you craft. Provides lots of coverage for trays, decoupage, preserving greeting cards, wallpaper, napkins, or tissue papers. Lasts years the way I use it for crafting. Good price.

The product worked very well on a Christmas project last year. Dried pretty fast and produced a clear finish. I would buy it again.

We had purchased the aerosol spray first, and found it to be unacceptable, due to the pungent odor....had to open all the windows in the house to get rid of it. The paint on version was odor free, dried quickly, and was much easier to use. Cleanup was easy. We were using it to seal a jigsaw puzzle. BTW, it said to allow 4 weeks for the sealing to cure, but we found it worked in a matter of hours.

Love this product and use it a lot. It would be best if you would send assortment of different size foam brushes with this product.
