But over the last couple years I've been phasing out commercial brands and replacing them with products that aren't full of GMO's with their inherent pesticides. Since these syrups are organic, no worries on that point. I LOVE this syrup! I've found I can mix it with organic 1/2 & 1/2 and get an absolutely yummy (and safe) coffee creamer. I did have to play with the amounts a bit to find the right balance for my tastes, but since my morning coffee is my daily vice and giving it up isn't an option, I'm very pleased with this solution. I will say that another reviewer mentions that when you initially change from commercial sugared products, there is a period when your tastes adjust. This is absolutely the case. Now I prefer the flavor of organic/non-GMO products, but at first the flavors seemed off. Now the opposite is true and the foods I used to love taste like chemicals. Since they're full of artificial stuff, I have to believe that I'm only now discovering real flavor. That said, these syrups are good. Look for the multi-packs though to get the best price. Sometimes Amazon offers them as Add-ons and I stock up. They are concentrated, so a little goes a ways. I can make about three 500ml containers of creamer from each bottle. And yes, I did invest in a few Erlenmeyer flasks with corks to mix and store my homemade creamers in. We found out that one teacher really enjoys the taste of salted caramel creamers, but we could not find them. I put it in an Amazon search and this product came up. It is perfect, it's the all organic flavor without the cream so no refrigeration needed. All she has to do is add the flavor to her liking and at creamer separately. She loves is and that's the most important thing to us.
