Another Thompson gem - collect 'em all!
Ah, this whole series of puzzles from Colin Thompson and Ravensburger are just tons of fun. I'm slowly collecting all of them.As with the previous ones, the fun continues after you solve the puzzle, because then you get to roam around it picking up all the neat things he's stuck inside the cupboard (in this case). His little pink guys are back. Don't know what they are, why they are there or what they are doing, but I love 'em.Plus all sorts of visual fun and interest. So, some points:- Ravensburger puzzles are made with thick, meaty pieces. They fit and sit well. No worries about bends or mangles.- For the first time (in my experience with Ravensburger) they included a poster of the puzzle. That's great, since the box picture is partially obscured by promo printing. Maybe this is a new thing for 2019. If so, keep it!- They are correct when they say low-glare finish. Even my inappropriately lit work area didn't cause any squinting.- Caution! Ravensburger does have the most puzzle dust of any manufacturer I've tried (and I've done a LOT of puzzles). The "how I solved it" section:These puzzles, because of all their unique areas, are close to an "easy" solve. In my case, I hit the reds first (including the patterned sections). The colored pencils are almost too simple to mention. Then I went for the alphabet. Next, the wheeled areas. Knocked out oranges and greens and then the shop on the right. From there, it was patterns and faces. Because this comes together so swiftly and it's one of "those" puzzles, at about a hundred pieces left, I "shut down" the poster and just looked at pieces and puzzle openings. It became a combination of puzzling and Concentration (yes, I know that no one remembers the game "Concentration").A fun and entertaining entry into the "cupboard" series by Colin Thompson. Miss them not!

Great puzzle
This puzzle was the most difficult I have completed. But I loved it as it was a challenge for my TBI. Ravensburger puzzles are well made, colors are bright and vivid. However, I'm wondering who is missing three pieces. I included them at the bottom of the picture. When pieces are missing from puzzles I'm working on, I wonder where they have gone. Now I know. Would recommend any Ravensburger puzzles.

Excellent quality with some thoughts (and reservations)
I, too, love it when a poster of the puzzle is included in the box. In this puzzle, issued in 2014, is it, but it is small because the artist's bio is included, and that steals horizontal space from the picture. I discovered that you can search for the puzzles(s) on the Ravensburger website and download a larger color landscape poster, about 8.5x11. This option is only helpful for those with a color printer unfortunately. I also hate it when Ravensburger teases us by obscuring the picture on the box cover with little Ravensburger doo-dads. But I got used to it. There are some miniscule pictures of the puzzle along the side edges of the box that reveal the missing bits. That all said, Ravensburger is an outstanding puzzle publisher. The color reproduction is hi-rez, the subject matter is interesting, the tiles are quality material and slip together smoothly, and there are always degrees of challenge. That being said (again) I avoid the Ravensburger puzzles from Target that come in an 8-inch by 8-inch square box. Ravensburger tells me that they have an exclusiver arrangement with Target that permits Target to sell these puzzle versions. The quality of the reproduced illustration seems pooer (to me), and made working this Target version frustrating. But--the Target versions, when available, seem to be half the cost.

difficult puzzle
This puzzle was difficult to do but this Ravensburger puzzle had a poster. It was fun puzzle but had lots of tiny detail items that were hard to find. I liked doing it. It just took longer than most 1000-piece puzzles.

My first Ravensburger puzzle - I am impressed
This puzzle is well made and the pieces fit together well and tightly. The printing is very sharp and the matte finish cuts down on glare. This is a fun puzzle, challenging but not frustrating. All the pieces were there, which is a plus considering some other brands. Each piece is differently shaped, and sections can be fitted together and then lifted and placed where they belong. There was a print inside the box, which helps some, but it is smaller than the picture on the box which is more detailed.

Great quality
This puzzle was great. None of the pieces are the same and the pieces seem to be matte. It was fun to put together and not too difficult!

Great Puzzle!
This was a really fun puzzle to do!! My adult daughter and I worked on it together when she visited. Puzzles are such a fun way to spend quiet time alone or work on with a friend while chatting. The puzzle pieces are a good size and well made. Beautiful graphics and design.

Fun, but 1 piece missing
This puzzle was challenging but a lot of fun. The only problem is there is a missing piece. I do not have kids or pets and it was built on a puzzle board so it could not have been miss placed. I have contacted the company so we will see how that goes. But Ravensburger Puzzles are still my favorite.Update: I contacted the manufacturer and they quickly responded saying they can’t replace the one piece but would send me a whole new puzzle.
